Very nice and venetian area, full of shots, restaurants, arts, culture and supermarket and a little market on the street.
It is closed to Giardini-Biennale, Giardini and San Pietro stops.
All my guests can use all the things and ammenities that they'll find on the flat.
I explain to my guests how to reach me and my flat and then meet them at the nearest vaporetto stop.
I take my time to explain them a few things about the house and all the suggestions that I can about Venice.
During their staying I am always at disposal and they can contact me via email, text message or calling.
The flat is 2 minutes walking distance from the Giardini/Biennale vaporetto stop and approximately 10 minutes walk from Piazza S. Marco - St. Mark Square.
Out of the mass and very venitian
We very much enjoyed our stay at Irene's flat. She was easy to deal with and gave us good information about the flat and the city. The flat was very comfortable and had everything we needed and was in a nice quiet neighbourhood. It was a bit of a walk from the main area but it was nice to get away from all the crowds. Very close to the vaporetto stop too, which made it easy to get in and out of town with our suitcases.
The apartment at Castello was really what we were looking for. Away from the crowd, very quiet and calm but yet close to everything. As we were lucky with the weather, the fresh walk to San Marco in the morning was the best way to start the day. Irene is a very flexible and attentively host with excellent advise on things to see and do. We would undoubtedly recommend her to our friends for a very 'nice & cosy' Venice experience!
A great place to stay! The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. Irene is a great host! Very easy to communicate with and she has maps and clear directions on how to get around. The apartment is not too close to San Marco but a nice place to stay to have a feel of how it is to live in Venice. Close to fresh food markets and the vaperetto.
I stayed with a friend at this flat for 2 weeks in November, and it was lovely. Well-kept and supplied, clean and comfortable. The location was the best part- in a very quiet local nieghbourhood right beside the Giardini, perfect for Biennale trips, walks in the park and the fantastic Garibaldi street shops/cafes/bars.
One drawback is the size of the second bedroom- it is little bigger than a closet. Tho the master bedroom is spacious and would easily accommodate a couple, the other bedroom is more appropriate for a child or maybe young teen. Especially if you're traveling with two same-sized adults that don't share a bed- someone will have to compromise.
I highly recommend the apartment, and owners are friendly, professional and responsive.
Lovely apartment, in a quiet neighbourhood, very clean and comfortable, and perfect for visiting the biennale (the entrance is around the corner). Everything was well organised by Irene, we really enjoyed our stay here!
Irene's place is great! It is as described in the listing, even better in person. Very clean, spacious and suitable for a short or long stay. Location is very good; we felt like true venetians while hanging our clothes outside to dry :) there is a park nearby as well as a popular street with restaurants and a few grocery stores. We walked everywhere but for those who wish to get around by boat, there is a vaporetto stop 1-2 minutes away from the apartment.
We were greeted by Luca who was very kind. He showed us to the apartment and provided all of the essential information. Irene was very sweet as well. She was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Highly recommend!
Beautiful apartment located in a great place in Venice. Irene was fantastic. She was easy to get in contact with and made sure our stay went well. Venice is generally very busy and full of people (many of them tourists), but the area around the apartment was never loud or busy. There are a number of restaurants, bakeries, and markets located nearby, although beware, some restaurants can be very overpriced due to the tourist economy. Look around, and you can find some good food that won't cost you an arm and a leg. I would absolutely stay here again if returning to Venice.
Beware of thieves and pickpockets in Venice, it is very easy to look away for a moment and have something of yours be gone.
Всё соответствует описанию. Irene нас встретила у остановки вапаретто и проводила в квартиру, где дала полноценные инструкции. Кому интересно Биеналле - вам сюда.
