Lovely and clean place, not far from the centre, about 10 min but a bit uphill to get there. Has lovely views of the city only slightly hampered by the building in front. Jurgen seemed really nice, but unfortunately he had to go and I didn't gave a chance to meet him. He left me cereal and nuts for breakfast that came in handy in the morning. Sofa is comfy to sleep in.
Jürgen's and Gudrun's place is the perfect AirBnB experience! Everything is well planned and set up in a very convenient way (keys, bed, Innsbruck map etc....) We only had one night to hang out this time, unfortunately... I'd be happy to come back one day. Thanks for a very nice stay!
Gudrun und Jürgen haben mich sehr herzlich empfangen und aufgenommen. Die Couch ist super bequem und die Lage könnte nicht besser sein. Ich wäre gerne noch länger geblieben!!!
Jürgen and his girl friend are exceptionally nice hosts! I felt welcome from the minute I arrived. So if you plan to stay in Innsbruck, take a chance and ask Jürgen.
Jurgen was quick to reply to my last minute request and was actually out of town when I came. I stayed with his girlfriend who was just amazing! She was the sweetest thing and so welcoming. Their apartment is an easy walk to the town and has fabulous views!
Jürgen was a great host. He met me at the airport and was very helpful in helping me plan a few day trips in and around Innsbruck. The apartment is lovely, so clean and neat! An absolute gem! The apartment is also so quite and has stunning views of the city, especially the view from the kitchen window! The couch is very comfortable!
I had the whole apartment to myself for my 3-day stay, and really loved every minute of it! Thank you Jürgen for sharing your apartment! Hope to host you in South Africa someday...
What a great great guy he is. He's very helpful, accommodating, friendly and relaxed and is very good to converse with. His apartment is clean, superbly located with stunning views and is very clean. I would definately stay here again as he is so helpful and kind. He even took me and my friend to a special restaurant in the hills on the last day.
This is a great place to stay, I highly recommend it!
I'll just start off with, if you're by yourself, this is the place to be! Easy to find, although at first glance on the map it may appear you would have difficulty finding it but with Jurgen's simply and succinct directions, I walked straight to it without a problem. He has a huge couch (I'm 6 feet 2 inches and there was still room). The room you sleep in is about 5x10 meters with an excellent view of the city and mountains. Three big windows and another door to the balcony wide open make it quite cool, breezy, and comfortable at night and in August with 80+ degree weather I was happy for this. It is not by the street so you hear NOTHING -- there are two other apartment buildings in front that drown out any sound that would otherwise keep you up at night. You can get to downtown (Altstadt) in ten minutes, and I somehow managed to make it to the train station in 20 minutes by foot! He also has a laptop for you to use, and for me, that was a blessing because I was using my little iPhone for the last two weeks! O_o
I was in a tight situation, trying to find a place and Jurgen was very quick to respond. I contacted him the day before and he got right back to me within the hour (some of the other Airbnb hosts I contacted still haven't replied a week later!)
Thanks for everything Jurgen, it was fun chatting with you and your girlfriend while having a beer. Cheers!
Jürgen is a nice guy and has a nice apartment with a great view from Innsbruck. We did not meet him personaly, but he helped us with everything we needed with letter, a pair maps and tourist guide from Innsbruck. The check in was with his neighbour Frau Beinl a very simpatic woman who showed us the apartment and gave us the key. His flat is exectaly how he describes it. It has a spacious living room with a comfortable couch . Our experience in Innsbruck was realy great and we enjoyed it a lot!
