The space
Welcome to Bigfoot's Hideaway an amazing newly updated townhouse nestled on a quiet street in downtown Banner Elk!
Walk 5 min to local events and restaurants...you are also in walking distance to Lees McRae College!
This beautiful 3 bedroom 2-level townhome has a ton of space including a game room and 2 amazing patios to enjoy! Bigfoot's Hideaway sleeps 7 and is the perfect place for family and friends to enjoy your time away.
Unbelievable location! Walk to everything in Banner Elk! We have Lees McRae on one side a 5 minute walk, Mills Pond 3-5 minute walk, Downtown Banner Elk you can walk to all of the restaurants, festivals including Woolley worm, Art on the Greene, Music inn the park. Blind Elk Taproom an open air brewery, Tate Allen park and jogging/biking trails all under an 8 minute walk!
Wildcat Lake with a small sand beach is just a 3-5 minute drive. You are on a quiet street end unit townhouse with two huge deck to relax and grill on yet just minutes to all the action! Park at home and go!
Plenty of space in your fully stocked open kitchen equipped with a drip coffee maker/Keurig combo and everything you need to make a perfect meal.
Relax in the large open living room with plenty of comfy seating and a beautiful large fireplace.
There is a large dining table and a cabinet filled with fun games to play. There is a half bath tucked in the corner on this first level.
Entertainment for all ages...includes a game room with an indoor basketball electronic game, foosball table and a large tv where you can watch tv or plug in your games. There is also a large table in this cool hang out nook and a second electric fireplace built into the console to keep you warm.
Step outside to your first level patio with a ton of seating, 2 grills and a nice table to eat outdoors.
Head upstairs to a large second level that has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
The Master bedroom has a King bed with your private en-suite bathroom, large jetted soaking tub, huge walk-in closet and a double sink vanity. You will also have a work area set up with a desk and a comfy chair to work from in the Master bedroom.
Head to the open landing where you pass the laundry area, full bathroom to the second and third bedrooms.
The second bedroom has a Queen bed and third bedroom has a Queen bed and a Twin bed. The twin bed has a second twin mattress tucked underneath that you can pull out, similar to a trundle bed.
Bigfoot's Hideaway is stocked with everything a family and group of friends would need to have the perfect time away.
We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance for your stay. You may opt for the coverage offered through the booking platform or use a provider of your choice. Please note that once the moderate cancellation window has closed, we are unable to provide refunds for unforeseen events such as all weather, travel delays, or illness. Located right in between Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain Ski Resorts, numerous trout fishing streams, the Alpine Coaster, Grandfather Mountain, gem mining, Wilcat Lake with a small sand beach, and much more including horseback riding, UTV tours, white water rafting and tubing trips, great restaurants, and shopping.
We want you to come and relax, enjoy all our space has to offer and just take in the beautiful mountain scenery.

You will have access to the entire home excluding a locked owners closet on the second floor and a locked cleaning closet on the first floor in the kitchen.
