We did have to call Rose a couple of times and wait a while for clean sheets to arrive but we do understand that she has to be at the hospital with her mom. The room was comfortable and ultimately everything worked out well.
We were unable to see Rose in our stay due to her being the hospital for her mom. But she was very helpful despite her mothers situation. Her place is very clean and tidy. She also provided an air mattress for our son. Neighbourhood was very cute. If you want to see traditional American village life I think it is a good choice
I recommend her place to everyone.
The accommodation was clean and corresponding has the description (Several switches do not work and the accommodation is a little bit dark).
However, we had difficulty in finding it, and after more than 12 hours of flight and a route of 3 hours by car, at the end of the day, it is not simple.
The owner was not on site, we called her to be able to find the accommodation and she answered us that she sent us a SMS. Meanwhile, we asked for directions to neighbors and found by ourselves. Rose had left the accommodation opened for us. We left the next day without having seen her.
We had the pleasure of meeting Rose's mother Joan, a truly warm hearted and generous person. The room and private bathroom were incredibly clean and fresh towels were folded and ready for us to use. Joan had a couple of manila folders full of great places to eat and visit in the area.
The picture doesn't lie. It's a pretty small bedroom. The listing says they can accommodate 4 in a private room, but really the room is meant for 2. Joan did however offer up a pullout bed and an air mattress that can sleep 2 more comfortably in the living room.
Our host was lovely and very accommodating! The space was clean and accurately represented the photos. Rose was very easy to communicate with and super helpful.
It was a bit tricky to find the apartment so make sure you know the building number and apartment number.
Nice, clean, warm. The perfect spot for getting from here to there without relying on a hotel.
