I am usually in town so please call me anytime if you have any issues or concerns.
The town of Mill Valley is settled in among the giant redwoods, the picturesque and almost quaint town of Mill Valley sits just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Nestled along Throckmorton and Miller Avenues, you will find shop after shop of some of the finest and often times most unique goods and services. From trendy fashions to old time milliners, the pleasure of shopping in this environment is only equaled by the local eateries. Home of the legendary Sweetwater where so often John Lee Hooker and Jerry Garcia have performed, there is a lot to explore in Mill Valley.
Small town which is very convenient to get around by feet or bikes.

The artist loft was beautiful!! The pictures were a true representation of the space. It was conveniently located near stores and restaurants. If you don't have a car, the bus stop is very close by. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. He thought of everything. I felt so at-home there! Many thanks to the host for providing such a beautiful space!
Clean, tastefully decorated, excellent location. Very expensive, and it would have been nice to have a sleeper sofa. Great kitchen. Entrance is into bedroom, then living space is downstairs. Lots of stairs. Nice high ceilings.
I can't say enough great things about Frederic's apartment. It was spacious, modern, comfortable in every way. The apartment has much higher speed wireless than expected, a balcony with chairs and table that is terrific -- and the apartment is close to everything cool, including a great running and biking trail that runs past Sausalito and restaurants and markets all within walking distance. Frederic is an awesome host who is clear about everything from check in and check out times to how to deal with unexpected problems in the apartment. My best Airbnb experience.
Our stay at Frederic's loft was very nice. It is a beautifully appointed place, with great off street parking. Nice and quiet, too.
I was very happy with Frederic's loft. It is a really nice unit in a great walkable location in Mill Valley. It is extremely clean, nicely decorated and had every amenity that I could have wanted. I think it is a great value for Marin County, which I have visited many times.
The loft apartment was as described. Frederic was a great host: he was flexible, provided detailed instructions thru a video and over the phone and contacted us prior to arrival to make sure I had no unanswered questions. He was proactive about communicating and responded very promptly to all of my inquiries. I would rent from him again and would recommend staying there.
Mr. Larson was very welcoming, responsive and organized. He clearly tries to make the experience of renting his air bnb “loft” apartment a great one for renters. The apartment was immaculately clean, well equipped, and (with some serious caveats below*) well designed and as described. We are a couple in our 70s—active but starting to have some physical difficulties. If you are also in this category, have knee problems, or trouble with reaching up to do things, or climbing stairs, these lodgings might not work for you (see caveats*). Given Mr. Larson’s meticulous care of the place, and his responsiveness, this might change. Young, tall AirBnB-ers will find this a wonderful choice—well located, beautiful, efficient, and comfortable. Older people, people with bad knees or some other physical limitations, not so much. First our brief description: There easy parking and an elevator which takes you to the 3rd floor. The apartment is on two floors, 2nd & 3rd. You enter on the 3rd floor, where the bedroom, a full en-suite bath, and foyer with concealed washer-dryer and closet are conveniently located. This is the equivalent of a well-appointed hotel room (+ washer & dryer!) We found the queen-size bed firm (but not too) and very comfortable. The 4-pc bathroom has a large shower. Everything is new and clean and colors are lovely and design minimalist. The rest of the apartment (kitchen, living room, and access to a deck with barbecue) are on the 2nd floor, down a full flight of stairs that have a good metal handrail. PROS: Location: Very conveniently located in Mill Valley on one of the main streets, near coffee, restaurants, groceries Parking: Easy, off-street lot. Accessibility: touch-key entry to apartment, where keys to front door and elevator access to sleeping/bath area means no need to carry luggage up and down stairs. Instructions were thorough and clear. Stair handrail is a great design, very helpful for people with stability/balance issues who can still handle stairs. Cleanliness: Immaculate—Mr. Larson keeps this apartment like new; no-shoe policy keeps carpet clean. Bed and bedding, etc: super comfortable and plenty of pillows; good towels. Electrical plugs aplenty for charging all those devices. A side table to elevate your small suitcase, and chairs for the handbags. A ceiling fan above the bed made cooling the apartment down easy in the evenings after being closed all day. Quiet at night: The deck faces busy Miller Ave, but during the night there is minimal traffic there. We heard no noises from other units. CONS: Water quality & pressure: The water had an off taste; our kids who live in the same town do not experience this, nor do they have low pressure. There is a filtered water/ice dispenser in the fridge door (taste fine), but the water comes out in a bare trickle. We bought bottled water for drinking and coffee. (This might have been a temporary building problem of some kind, but since it did not seem to be an easy fix, we had...
