Interaction with Guests
Have questions about tiny houses? I offer 1-hour consultation sessions to help you with your own plans in conjunction with your reservation for an additional $30 (weekdays only, with some exceptions). Just let me know you're interested at the time of booking.
Though my family resides on the property, I live a short distance away. I am always a phone call away & able to come out to meet you should any concerns arise. Check-in is "self check-in", and you just let yourself into the house with the key code provided upon booking.
I’m an Olympian born & raised & keep lots of info on things to do in the area, and would be happy to give you personalized suggestions for exploring the town & area!
Although very quiet & rural, the Bungalow is just an 8-minute drive from coffee shops, restaurants & grocers, and a quick 15-minute drive from artsy, whimsical downtown Olympia.

I'm from Olympia, WA - born & raised. I love to travel, hike, build tiny houses & ski in the winter! Get me outdoors and I'm happy!
I built the Bayside Bungalow in 2008 and lived in it for 2 years. Since then, I have been renting it out to friends, family, & visitors so that they too can experience life in a tiny house. I love small, efficient living and am happy to be able to share my tiny house with others. I also teach tiny house design & building workshops with the Tumbleweed Tiny House company, and offer personalized consulting to visitors at the Bungalow upon request.
