Bonnie's home provided the perfect weekend stay for my friends and I. The space was beautiful and clean, and we appreciated the access we were allowed to the house's gorgeous back yard. Bonnie was very welcoming and accommodating of our schedule and space needs. Next time we have a reunion in Chelsea I hope to stay here again!
Our weekend in Vermont was excellent . In our opinion the Pomerantz´s house is very well located because it is nearby the main stations of skiing ( Sugarbush and Killington ) and Montpelier. It is a beautiful and cozy rural house . Bonnie and her husband were very attentive and friendly . When we arrived at the house
everything was perfect, and they kindly yet left a great sound of Frank Sinatra. My friends and I, intend to return soon to Vermont. Hope to stay in Pomerantz´s house again. Bonnie and Louis, thank you very for everything!
We had such a wonderful stay and Bonnie's home on President's Day weekend! It was snowy and cold, exactly what we were looking for. We utilized their sleds and snowshoes, which we had an absolute blast with. Their home is very nice - roomy for our party too (we were 4 couples). Everyone had a bedroom which was nice. We were looking for a relaxing weekend in a rural area, and we go just that! We would definitely stay again! Thanks for having us!
Our group was looking for access to woods to ski in. Bonnie's place was perfect for this with two state forests within walking distance. We really enjoyed seeing a new part of VT! The home itself was perfect for our group, clean, cozy and spacious. None of our group got lost arriving there as we did our homework ahead of time.
Bonnie and Louie were friendly hosts. Their rental home is as advertised, cozy, and has lovely views. We had a very pleasant stay there, and our only difficulties were finding the house and running the wood stove round the clock.
Our stay at Bonnie's was excellent! The house is lovely and comfortable. The open floor plan downstairs was perfect for the social aspects of our large family get-together. The common room and views out the large windows are much more beautiful than the listing photos show. It was a wonderful place to spend Thanksgiving. Views are beautiful across the gorgeous yard. There is some available outdoor space, but as it snowed 10" while we were there, and we didn't bring our snow suits we did not use it. We had several enjoyable walks along the beautiful quiet country road. Sleeping arrangements for 9 of us was no problem, and we could have put more people on the couch-futons downstairs. Bonnie and her husband were very helpful and pleasantly "around," but not too much. The rental shares the entryway and mudroom with their residence. This made for the right mix of privacy and a sense of community. The living areas in the rental space were very comfortable and had perfectly good hanging-out space for all of us. The kitchen is very well provisioned with cooking tools, pans, etc., and a pretty good array of spices and such. There are two refrigerators, one small one in the kitchen itself and a full-sized one in the utility room (easily accessible). We were able to seat 11 around the dining table using the two available leaves and some extra folding chairs that Bonnie provided. The bathrooms are functional and well-designed for the available space. Overall an excellent stay, and we definitely would recommend this place.
Our party was staying for the weekend for a wedding. Bonnie was helpful, friendly and her place is warm and welcoming. Although I never met her as I arrived late and let myself in, our guests were able to meet her during check in/out. The stay was relaxing, we had everything we needed and everything was clean and organized. I only had one thing to mention is the fact that it was very difficult to find the house. Please verify with Bonnie the complete address along with city and state as it helps to use GPS on these small roads. We didn't have any cellular reception so it helps to pre-download your maps.
About the Host, Bonnie
I love my home and where I live. It took me years to appreciate the solitude of my location and to release the need for undo excitement and stimulation. My meditation practice sustains me which includes a daily 4 mile walk on a route where I get to stop and visit with a neighbor and have a morning cup of tea or sometimes a hearty breakfast. It feels like a real life rather than just racing through my days. When I was a kid the musical "Stop the World I Want to Get Off" really resonated with me.
I could not live without my four children and Krishna; three of my adult children, who live in Hawaii, introduced me to Bhakti Yoga eight years ago and life has never been the same. I am grateful every day for this understanding. I just watched a Beatles documentary on George and feel a lovely connection to him via our common love. I am also smitten with SRK (you Bollywood folks will know who I am talking about) and his movies because they are simple and sweet and touch on important themes of family, prejudice, harmful traditions, faith and caring.
I am a vegetarian and non-drinker headed towards vegan-ism....but I cannot seem to let go of the dairy just yet. I have tried a macrobiotic lifestyle for a time to heal melanoma and gone raw for six months and am always playing with improving my health and eating choices. I do not believe I am an overt proselytizer for my beliefs although I am imagining friends giggling as they read this. :)
A significant personality revealing motto: "A place for everything and everything in its place"........my husband, the crazy messy artist, might wish my motto was otherwise although he benefits when he can find his wallet!!!!
I am excited about having folks come to our place. I like to create experiences for others and help them have wholesome good fun; my parties are usually charades and silly interactive games. For our Airbnb guests I am enjoying thinking about the various local activities that I can find; in addition to sports, nature and leisure, we have a lot of interesting, quirky artists around and I plan to contact them to see if they would enjoy appointments with my guests to see their work privately.
I look forward to hosting you and your family and friends. Let me know what your hopes and dreams are for your visit to Vermont and let's see what we can make happen!
