The cottage was wonderful! Great place to stay in the Mission. Very Quiet and private. We were very pleased to stay here. Megan is a fantastic hostess.
We spent a week in Megans cottage and it was just great! The pictures that you see on this page does not do the place justice, it is so much prettier irl! The cottage has a lot of space, is clean, everything from the bed til the towels are super comfortable and we even got fresh flowers when arriving! Megan is a really nice host, super friendly! She also provided a nice little breakfast with greek youghurt, graniola and fresh berries =) I highly recommend a stay at Megans!
Megan's Mission cottage was a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place to stay. We stayed 2 nights with a very busy schedule and wish we had more time to enjoy her gardens and spacious cottage. She even has a lemon tree! She provided a delicious breakfast of Greek yogurt, fresh berries and also had granola and orange juice. She was very accommodating and appreciated all the little touches such as cute little vases of fresh calla lilies. Her partner Michael was there to greet us as she was away and was also very friendly and helpful. We relied on transit and had no issues. The bus stop is very close and there's a convenience store maybe 2-3 houses away which was great when we didn't have bus change. Thanks again Megan and Michael- we will be back!!
The cottage was everything we expected. Beautifully appointed and surprisingly private and quiet. It is secluded behind Megan's home, and situated in a fenced-in garden. The location gave us quick access to public transportation, which we used occastionally, but also provided a private parking spot in her driveway for our rental car. We met Megan briefly before she had to head out of town, but her partner Michael was an excellent host, and made sure we had everything we needed - including tips on shopping, sightseeing, and getting around town. If we return to San Francisco, we will be sure to stay at this beautiful cottage.
My stay in the cottage was an absolute delight. Very private, beautifully decorated, and a spacious living space. The owner personally brought me over a greta loaf of fresh banana bread upon my arrival. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here.
Everything was perfect. The cottage is a very unique and cozy place to stay at, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts welcoming and friendly.
Megan's cottage is very cozy and as advertised, SPACIOUS.
Our hosts are very nice and make us feel feel welcome. Even their kitty cat purrs welcome.
Thank you very much.
Have stayed with Megan more than once, a wonderful experience both times.
Megan and Michael have a beautiful space - it's private, well located, and larger than the photos suggest. The entire cottage has been renovated, so its comfortable and has nice amenities, like a microwave, small refrigerator, and flat screen t.v. (with cable!). It's also pretty much spotless and the bathroom is nicer than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in. There were a few downsides, such as construction next door, but nothing that would deter me from booking the cottage again. I would've liked black-out curtains, but that is a personal preference, and I did have trouble connecting to the internet, although this may just have been user error on my part or non-compatibility with my macbook. Megan left fresh fruit and a loaf of banana bread for me, as well as milk and grapefruit juice in the refrigerator - all of which I appreciated. She also tended to the space each day while I was out - something not all hosts take the time to do. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend in the lovely garden with Elvis the cat.
Have stayed now with a couple of hosts. Megan was by far the very best, going beyond any expectations I had (even after reading all her great reviews).
Not one bad negative point to make.
