Centrally located in the very heart of Berlin, your vacation getaway has the best of both worlds. Ideally situated on a quiet street in the city’s popular Mitte district, your apartment is just a stone’s throw from Kreuzberg — Berlin’s bustling cultural hub. Right in front of the building is an idyllic church (Michaelkirche) and next to it is a beautiful small park with a pond (Engelbecken). There, you can enjoy a drink at the charming Café am Engelbecken while gazing out over water or, in the wintertime when the pond freezes, you can go ice-skating.
But only 5 to 10 minutes walk from your peaceful retreat is Oranienstrasse, the beating pulse of Berlin’s dynamic Kreuzberg neighbourhood.
Public transport is very convenient. And to explore the city by bicycle, which you can rent for only 5 euros a day, it will take you:
10 minutes to Alexanderplatz, where the iconic TV tower entices visitors with its epic view of the city
15 minutes to Unter den Linden, a boulevard adjacent to the Museum Island in the Spree River, and where the splendid Brandenburg Gate awaits
15 minutes to Gendarmenmarkt, a historical square with beautiful cathedrals and the Konzerthaus (highly recommended, especially after sunset)
20 minutes to Friedrichstrasse, a shopping street with luxury boutiques and the Galeries Lafayette department store
20 minutes to Hackescher Markt, an inviting area filled with small boutiques, shops and cafés
If you want to really feel the city’s pulse you just have to walk 5-10 minutes to Oranienstrasse, which is the very heart of Kreuzberg.

Jessica responded very quickly and was incredibly kind and informative. The apartment is better than where we currently live and check in was easy. The views of the neighborhood are very calming and travel around Berlin is very easy. Jessica is never more than a quick message away and has friends able to help should you need it. I can't recommend this apartment enough. Jessica is delightful
Jessica's appartment is one of the best I have ever found at Airbnb.
Jessica and her mom are very helpful and gave all explanations I might need. Excellent decoration, perfectly clean and all amenities you might ever need (washing machine, iron, shampoo to give a few examples). Its location is perfect, very close to the underground and at a walking distance from a very lively area with restaurants and bars.
On top of that there is free parking in the street just in front of the appartment.
I recommend Jessica's appartment to any friend that wants to have a pleasant stay in Berlin.
Awesome apartment! The location is great, you can walk or take a train to reach anywhere you want. You have all you need in the apartment, all the necessities were stocked inside the lockers and it was a very clean apartment. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining area and bedroom were all very confortable and cosy. Jessica was a wonderful host, we loved her little black book in which we found everything we need, restaurants, shopping places, historical monuments, clubs were both written inside and plotted in the map : )
What an awesome apartment! We travelled all across Europe this trip, and this apartment absolutely blew all the others out of the water.
It's nicely renovated, with a really spacious living room and dining area. The kitchen and bathroom are superb, far larger than what we've come to expect from apartments.
It was generously stocked with all the necessities and toiletries, as well as a really nice hand written guidebook of the city.
The location is quite good, you can walk to Alexanderplats in around 20 minutes, and Potsdamer in about 30 minutes. The area is nice, and it has an amazing view of a church, park and lake.
Overall we loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to come back when we return to Berlin!
We recently had the pleasure of staying @ Jessica's apartment in Berlin for 5 nights. The apartment was exactly as described & had everything we needed. The location is great with shops (including 2 supermarkets) & train stations within walking distance. It's also an easy 5-10min walk to the heart of the Kreuzberg district as well for those wanting to explore that part of Berlin. Jessica's place is clean, modern & well presented. It helped make our stay in Berlin a memorable one. Thanks Jessica.
Had an amazing experience! The apartment was perfect, great locAtion, and had everything we needed. Dishwasher, washing machine, iron etc. Jessica was very easy to contact. Definitely recommend !!
We found apartment well equipped and very clean.
The location is perfect: close to U8 bahn line, only 2 stations to Alexander platz; U2 line is also not far about 10 min by foot;
bus to Branderburg Gate/ Under der Linden / Museum Island just around the corner; from other side, Kreuzberg area with many restaurants is very close too; there are 3 supermarkets: Keiser, Aldi and Lidl close to home.
Jessica gave us quick response to our questions.
We enjoyed pleasant stay in the apartment.

I was born in East-Berlin in 1979. In 2000 I moved to Zurich, where I'm still living and working as an Inventory Development Specialist.
And in July 2012 a dream became true when I bought my apartment in Berlin.
