Our unique timber framed guest cabin is in a country setting just 15 minutes outside of Bozeman city limits. Spend your vacation here and you will enjoy your own cozy space with spectacular views, as well as the numerous activities year-round in the Gallatin Valley!

The space
Professionally decorated and masterfully built, our guest house is in a country setting just 15 minutes outside of Bozeman. Enjoy amazing views of the Bridger Mountains, Spanish Peaks, and the beautiful rolling hills and farm fields that surround you, while also having convenient access to the numerous activities in and around the Gallatin Valley!

Our guest house is a highly energy efficient timber frame, with exposed beams throughout. It has three levels, with the bedroom on the lower level, the living area and bathroom on the main level, and additional lounging space in the loft, for a total square footage of 585 square feet.

The bedroom is cozy and private with abundant natural light and its own entrance. This room stays cool in the summer and has its own baseboard heater in the winter, so you will be sure to rest comfortably. Relax watching the flat screen Roku TV - set up for logging into your own favorite subscription channels! We also have a BluRay player with a few movies supplied.

The cabin has wireless internet, as well as a blue tooth speaker so you can bring along your devices!

The bathroom boasts a skylight and walk-in shower, with custom cabinets and concrete counter tops for the vanity. It has heated floors with an in-room thermostat you can control – perfect for Montana winters.

The kitchen area has a full-sized sink, under-counter refrigerator, toaster, dishes, utensils, and the all-important coffee maker! There is also a microwave oven, perfect for heating up simple foods and leftovers. The cabinets are custom-made, and the counter top is concrete with inlaid fossils.

When you just need to hang out and relax, enjoy the private hot tub on the patio where you can take in the views by day, and the incredible stars by night! There are also great indoor spaces to choose from on the main floor or up in the loft. Both levels have wood floors and great contemporary lighting to make for a cozy space to curl up with a book and a glass of wine. There is also a charming gas stove and unique spiral staircase that add to the great character of this house!

Relax here at night, but be sure to play all day – there is so much to do in the Gallatin Valley, and nearly everything is less than an hour’s drive from the guest house. Gallatin River fishing access and golfing at Cottonwood Golf Course are only a few miles away. Within 25 minutes you could be soaking at Norris Hot Springs while listening to live music, or be enjoying dinner and entertainment at a downtown Bozeman venue. And in less than an hour you could be on the slopes at one of the two nearby ski resorts: Bridger Bowl or Big Sky!

Guest access
Guests walk the lighted path through the front yard to access the guest house. There is a patio on the east side with a hot tub and great views of the Bridger and Gallatin mountain ranges, and is for exclusive use to those renting the guest house!

Other things to note
This is our guest house! Our home is also on the property - about 40 ft corner to corner from the guest house. There is a fence dividing the two spaces. You will have a great deal of privacy, but keep in mind that we do live here :-)
Another detail to note is that the bedroom and bathroom are on different levels, with a spiral staircase in between. The stairs are small and narrow, so make sure you are completely comfortable navigating them!

Our house is in Montana farm country - wide open spaces, rolling hills, and a great big sky - which makes for some great star-gazing at night! In the vicinity you might see farms/ranches with grazing cattle, dairy cows, goats, sheep and pigs, as well as fields full of crops like wheat, barley, alfalfa, corn & potatoes! The fields often draw numerous deer, hawks, eagles and owls too!

We are Jeff and Jen Stoner, and we have enjoyed over ten years of owning this beautiful property outside of Bozeman, MT. Jeff constructed the guest house almost entirely himself, and finished it in the summer of 2009. We are excited to share it with others visiting the area!
