This is a small unit behind the house with total privacy. Very quiet and relaxing. You will have your own private entry, a large covered lanai, and access to your own washer and dryer. We do not recommend staying here without a car. THIS IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN, LIMITED TO TWO ADULTS MAXIMUM. HI Tax#W.
A separate structure behind main house. Main bedroom has a double bed but there is additional room w twin bed. NOTE: both rooms are very small, and restrict having a larger bed. Kitchenette has full refrigerator, double burner cook top, micro, toaster oven, coffee maker, your lanai is covered with a full size glass table and extra space to relax.
Bathroom has a shower and all supplies....you don't need to pack hairdryer, or even sunscreen.You have washer and dryer (in car port area), cable TV with DVR, DVD/CD player, and wireless internet access. No smoking inside or outside the unit.
The hillside behind the house is landscaped and provides a nice setting for extra outside relaxing space.
We are a 6 minute drive to Kailua beach, 6 minute drive to Waimanalo beaches. (Not walking distance to either) Located in a quiet residential neighborhood near Enchanted Lake. Access to beach chairs, beach towels, beach supplies and equipment.
Located just minutes from the heart of Kailua town and all it's excitement, but this area offers some eating options within walking distance.

To access the unit...walk to the right of the carport, the cottage entrance is in the back of the house. There is a dedicated washer and dryer (with supplies) for your use only, in the car port.
Interaction with guests
We try to be around on arrival, but otherwise will NEVER intrude on your privacy. If we need to contact you, we will call or email.
This is a residential neighborhood close to the Enchanted Lake area in Kailua. Lots of older homes, small steep driveway for the house, the rental unit is to the right of the garage-around back. There is a large grassy area in front of the house for renters to park their car.
DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING THIS UNIT WITHOUT A RENTAL CAR.

Be respectful to our property and our neighbors. We ask you do not abuse the air conditioning units that are provided. Enjoy the (Usually) perfect Hawaiian air. The ac units are for the rare occasions that the tradewinds are not blowing and it feels hot. Electricity is very expensive in Hawaii, please be considerate - Never leave the units running when you are not on the premises.

My sister and I live in the main house and love to travel and meet new people. We value the beauty and uniqueness of Hawaii and will do everything to make your stay the best vacation you can imagine. We love to walk the beaches here, and hiking. We can direct you to restaurants, activities and deals. This is a quiet neighborhood, and you will have maximum privacy. Enjoy island style relaxation!
