  • Suzie's bungalow is a fantastic getaway from the high traffic tourist areas surrounding Waiikiki. There are tons of good restaurants and hiking trails in the neighborhood as well. I would definetly recommend staying here!!!! Oh, and the little pups that hang out in the yard are a real delight!

  • Suzie and Pat were amazing! They went above and beyond what is expected from a host to make sure we were comfortable and they kindly supported us in the days before our wedding.

We don't know how we would have had everything done without them, and will be forever grateful.

Thank you so much for everything! Hope to come back soon.

  • We had a very nice visit to Waikiki. We had an infant and a toddler and were able to stroll to the beach, the aquarium and the zoo no problem. Suzie's home was safe, nice and comfortable just as described. I loved the amount of green space compared to a hotel. I would recommend her place to anyone! Very nice accomodations! Thanks Suzie!

    Response from Suzie:

Sarah I love you. You are a shining positive person. Your smile is always there. You mad me feel very comfortable. Thank you Sarah. Love Suzie

  • We could not be happier staying in Suzie's place for 8 days. It is a beautiful, quite and clean Bungalow in a safe neighborhood. With a fully-equipped kitchen, we could cook baby food for my son and make our own breakfast conveniently. The place is close to Diamond Head and Kapahulu Ave where we got to try many great local resteraunts. Street parking is super easy. We love the fact that it is close to parks, beaches and the zoo that are not crowded and we had a good time there.

Suzie is kind and considerate. She let us check in early thus my 2 year old son can have a good sleep right after a long flight. She also provided us a futon which is a perfect little bed for my son. I ordered many things online and have them delivered to the place. Suzie helped receiving heavy packages when we were away. Thank you so much!

    Response from Suzie:

Grace and her family were a pleasure to host. They were very kind and careing of the Bungalow and gardens. I hope all guests could be as wonderful as her and her beautiful family.

  • This is a gem in Honolulu!A quiet,,clean and charming place with a bit of a "Bali-feeling" to it.The location is excellent,it's close to the calmer part of the beach and there are a few restaurants and a good coffeeplace arounf the corner. If you walk along the Waikiki beach for 20 minutes you will be "downtown".....

  • Suzie's bungalow behind her house in Kapahulu was absolutely clean, welcoming, charming, comfortable, and private. We wish we could have stayed longer and plan to do so next time. Suzie is friendly and accommodating but not interfering. I will never again stay in a hotel if I can help it!

  • Suzy and her furry assistant ruby were fantastic hosts. Everything was exactly as described.
The cozy house is in a great location. If you rent a car there are plenty of parking places. Everything is also in walking distance from the house.
sadly ..Our trip was too short ..can never spend enough time in Paradise!

  • We are extremely happy with Suzie's little bunglow. which turned out to be meeting all our needs being first time in Oahu as a family of four with two young kids. The benefits are: 1) safe and private, gated door with separate entry to the bunglow in a quiet neighborhood; 2) close to everything, walk to Diamond head and walk to the beach. This is the east end side of Wakiki, very quiet and peaceful than the downtown area; 3) full kitchen convenience for simple easy cook up; 4) friendly, kind and hospitable hostess, Suzie. Bonus: 1) transquill and fragrant garden to wake up to. 2) Suzie's coffee mocha to fresh you up. We only had three nights at the bunglow but really miss it. Next time, we'll still come to here :)

  • The bungalow by the Lily Pond is a wonderful place. We were only able to stay for two nights, but really loved it. Suzie is very responsive and when we landed she texted back right away with confirmation and code for the gate. And we highly recommend the Pioneer Restaurant and their garlic ahi -- so good -- a recommendation to us from Suzie that was top notch.
