Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Ernesto was a great host -
He was willing to help me figure out the city and also very respectful of space. If you plan on traveling around the city - this place is extremely convenient - as there is a Metrobus stop across the street.

  • Ernesto was a gracious host that showed me around Condesa and provided a great deal of support and pointers for travels within the DF.

  • Ernesto is a super good guy-he took me on a tour of the neighborhood and showed me all the good places to go. If you want to get to know a friendly local, this would be a great place to stay. There is a fair amount of noise from the street and Cuban bar, and I am a light sleeper-but surprisingly, I was able to sleep very well. I think the constant noise was light "white" background noise and I slept beautifully. If you need ultra modern plumbing, this may not be the place for you.

  • Ernesto is an excellent host! He provided a lot of help and he's interesting. And the apartment is comfortable and well-located. You have everything around, including a metrobús stop.

  • This apartment is great value for the money. It is in a good neighbourhood, close to lots of restaurants and parks, and on the metrobus line. Also close to the Insurgentes metro stop. Remarkably quiet for such a busy street. The double windows help.
The building in a good example of Art Deco architecture.
I had the place to myself, as Ernesto was out of town, which was a bonus for me. I would like to meet Ernesto, but I did like the privacy. He arranged for someone to let me in.
Make sure to ask for the Wifi password (which he gave me via email).

    Some criticism:
The floor has some loose boards.
It is on the 4th floor, so quite a walk up (OK for me and quieter with no-one overhead).
The Cuban place across the street goes late on weekends, but not too loud. (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper like me).

Overall I would recommend this apartment very highly.
My first AirBnB stay made me a believer.

  • Ernesto was a wonderful host and very kindly showed me around the neighborhood when I arrived. The location is great - right between Roma and Condessa, so there are endless restaurants, shops, cafes, and galleries to enjoy. A great place to spend a few days in DF.

  • Very nice flat and very well located. Ernesto is very friendly. When I go back to Mexico, I call him

  • Staying at Ernesto's was quiet and private. During my stay, he was in working in Peru so I never actually met the guy. His brother met me at the apartment to let me in. The location is centrally located in La Condesa. The metrobus is across the street and there are many restaurants and cafes located along Ave Michoacan located just a few minutes walking distance. I didn't get a chance to experience the nightlife but apparently La Condesa is the place to be on the weekends. There is a nice park, Parque Mexico, nearby where you see many people walking their dogs, dogwalkers and dog trainers.

Tip: If Ernesto won't be around make sure you ask him for the WiFi password before you arrive.
