  • I had to be in down town LA for a photography workshop and this place was perfect!

    Pros:
This place is so much nicer then any hotel we could have stayed at for the same price. As soon as we (my husband and I) walked in we felt at home. Everything felt very clean and nice (a place I'm staying at feeling clean is a big thing for me. I'm a little bit of a germaphobe.).

The AC worked great and helped drown out some of the down town noise (city noise wasn't that bad to start with though as the flat is 5 stories up).

My favorite thing about the loft had to be the bed though!!!! Oh my gosh! It was so freaking comfortable. By far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on outside of my home. And the sheets and blankets felt super soft and clean. It was awesome and I slept amazingly!

The decor was great too! I love me some good interior design and this place was cool. Not too stuffed and felt nice, open, and airy. And the bathroom was so nice! I wish I would have had time to take a bath in that awesome tub before I left. I have bathtub envy now. =)

My husband had to telecommute while we were staying here and I had some editing and photos to upload while I was there too and the internet worked great! No issues at all and was pretty fast.

And last but not least the location is great. It felt safe enough and there are lots of coffee shops and restaurants around! Also lots of paid parking lots/garages close by.

    Cons:
Message communication response was not as prompt as I would have felt comfortable with. When we got there though we didn't know where the exact entrance was so I called Aron and he was right there when we needed him so he might just be more of a phone person.

There were only two towels left out for us and one had some holes in it. Since they have a pool on the roof it would have been great if they gave us two per person.

The washer dryer combo wouldn't open and there appeared to be someone else's clothes in it. I totally get it when stuff breaks but it would have been nice to know about it before hand as I packed so I could wash and reuse some items of clothing.

There was no hand soap so we bought two things of it to put in the bathroom and kitchen. Not big a deal but it would have been nice to have that there already.

All in all.... I would have given this place 5 stars but for the stuff listed above and none was a huge deal for us. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and I would certainly stay here again if I was in the area.

  • I loved staying in Aron's loft. The location was amazing and the building itself is gorgeous and contemporary. Lots of great shopping, bars and restaurants around. It was exactly what I was looking for and would definitely stay again.

  • This was an awesome place. The door men were cool and didn't really bat an eye. The location is great and DTLA has change a ton (for the better) since we were there last. Our short stay at the Aron's place was very enjoyably and we highly recommend it.

  • We had a great time at this loft. Perfect location to explore DTLA! Aron was incredibly accommodating and the place was spic and span.

    March 2014
  • We had a great time this past weekend. The apartment was clean, easy to access, and central to everything. Other than a daytime excursion to West LA, we spent most of the weekend walking around downtown and couldn't have picked a better location. And it is exactly as it appears in the photos!

Aron left very detailed instructions and made it very easy to find the apartment, park, access WiFi, etc.

The only issue - as others have noted - is that it can be noisy, both from the street and within the building. If you're sensitive, ear plugs are recommended.

  • Great loft! Super good location and a comfortable space.
