Good location, spacious house. Host was helpful. My friends and I would visit again.
The home was exactly as described on the listing. Very simple, minimal, and clean. We were initially worried about the neighborhood because of some "talk" about the 7th ward but we had no problems. I had a group of friends (ages ranging 23-30) and two small children (ages 4 and 7). The location was central to everything we wanted to explore in NOLA which made it really easy to navigate around without wasting too much gas. Morgan made sure we had plenty of clean towels and space. Because of the large size of our group, she up out extra bedding on the futon and the air mattress. Thank you for accommodating us!!
Morgan was an excellent host! The house was plenty equipped for our stay. She offered great advice for where to go and what music to see. All the beds were set up prior to us arriving and everything was very clean and presentable. The location was also very close to the French Quarter, just a 5 minute Uber ride. I highly recommend this house for other Airbnb-ers. We had an amazing trip and can't wait to come back!
Great spot, especially for Jazz Fest. Host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Our host made us feel welcome and is personable. The apartment is on the ground floor of a lovely historic house. The main apartment upstairs is beautiful. The ground floor apartment is much more basic but comfortable for the price paid. I would not recommend this for people over 6' however since the ceiling is quite low. The bedrooms were comfortable, but could have used more lighting for reading. Room size was comfortable and the bathrooms nice sized. Kitchen was clean and convenient, but basic. The neighborhood was diverse, with historic homes walking distance away, a cool record shop, coffee shop and restaurants a 15 minute walk away.
We enjoyed sitting on the stoop, and on the porch and appreciated our host allowing this since it was not part of our rented property on the ground floor and belonged to the more upscale apartment upstairs.
For a family, the place is suitable, but basic. People coming to music festivals and need a place for several to crash will find it perfect.
We had a great time staying at this cute, clean space. Our host was very accommodating and communicated promptly. The house is in a pretty safe location on a quiet main road. Getting around on busses was slightly difficult--for some reason the 51 and 52 seemed to never be on time or even running. The house is a 13-15$ cab ride to most places, including the French quarter. Overall I would recommend this place to other friends and would love to stay here again if I were I come back to New Orleans!
Wonderful experience! We stayed over the Mardi Gras weekend, and Morgan was extremely accommodating. She had everything we needed for our very big group (towels, blankets, etc.), and was a pleasure to work with. I'm looking forward to coming back, especially to Jazzfest, as the location is blocks away.
