Nestled on the side of Butternut Mountain, this cozy home is private and peaceful - offering beautiful views, gardens, birds, a running stream and is within walking distance of the Long Trail. 5 minutes from Johnson State College, 7 minutes to a sweet little yoga studio and a good coffee shop, 30 minutes from Stowe and 20 minutes to Smuggler's Notch.
THIS ADDITIONAL LISTING IS GENERALLY AVAILABLE ONLY WHEN THE Green Mountain Sanctuary GUEST ROOM IS ALREADY TAKEN.
It has a king-size bed, a private half bath with tub, and a shared shower in the hall.
My home is my sanctuary and I like to share that experience with others. I have WiFi and good reception for Verizon Wireless. I have a TV but it is only set up for movies and the "fireplace listed is actually a windowed woodstove (so you still get to see the fire :_))
I love animals and do not have any currently. If yours is well behaved, let's discuss. There will be a nominal charge for pets.
For additional information, check the "GREEN MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY" listing - it's the same place!

Lisa was friendly, and welcoming.
The perfect Hostess.
The Room was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable.
We stayed for a ski trip, and ended up skiing both days at Stowe. It was about a half hour drive, but not bad at all. Lisa was extremely accommodating, even through a blizzard! The wood fire burner was always toasty, and nice to come back to after a day of skiing.
Lisa's home was my first airbnb experience, and it was absolutely lovely. A friend and I traveled to stay with Lisa for a long weekend, and we were greeted by kind notes, warm tea and open arms. Lisa is enthusiastic, insightful, generous and calming, and her home is beautiful. I cannot recommend staying with Lisa more highly, and hope I will have the chance to be back in Johnson soon.
Lisa'a place was rather remote but comfortable and quiet. Lisa was the perfect host, friendly and helpful about where to visit and how to get there. She offered morning coffee and tea and pears from her trees, even baked bread and a pear crisp to share with guests. Be prepared to drive about 3 miles off the main road from Johnson, but if you wish for a peaceful stay with views of nature all around on a large, private property, this is an ideal B&B.
Lisa was a wonderful host. She help my wife and I book her place at the last minute, allowing us to take an impromptu trip to Jay Peak. Her house was beautiful and comfortable, and she called to check on us during our stay to make sure everything was OK. I would definitely stay at her place again.
As before, it was great to stay at Lisa's house. So quiet and beautiful, and Lisa is a fantastic host - we had great conversations over breakfast!
The location is amazing, the bed is extremely large and comfortable and the bath tub is great! Lisa is very nice and we had lots of fun talking to her, she provided us with everything we needed. The internet is a bit problematic but is existent and can be made to work.
