The place was very good, just as described. Julana is a very nice host, Me and my father had no problem whatsoever and she replied immediately to every my question. I highly recommend staying at Julana's place.
Julana was a great host. She responded promptly to any inquiries that I had. She provided transportation information for how to get to and from her space. Her space was as pictured. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. I stayed in her space during some of the coldest days in New York and the space was always warm and inviting when I returned in the evening. I really was grateful for this.
The neighborhood was good and people were helpful.
It was a good experience. I recommend the space.
Pasamos unos dias muy lindos. Julana es muy buena anfitrión, muy atenta. El apartamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos. Muy calido para los dias frios. Lo recomendamos!
Great thanks to Julana for a warm welcome! Her apartment was cosy and had everything needed!:)
We had a wonderful time at Julana's apartment. It was exactly as advertised: clean, comfortable, and with everything we needed. It's about 15 minutes walk from the subway and we found it very convenient for the Brooklyn bus routes as well. Julana herself was a great host, very helpful and accomodating - she even gave us a ride to the subway station when we checked out. The whole experience was great, highly recommended.
I was thoroughly impressed at the amenities provided by Julana at the apartment (which was everything!). The neighborhood is quiet and charming in architecture. The train was a close enough distance to make our way out to Manhattan and neighboring areas. The deli/convenience store was just a couple doors down which was very helpful along with other eateries that were walking distance. Julana is extremely quick to answering all of my questions. Would definitely recommend to those who want a "locals" experience that they will never forget. Thank you Julana!
Julana was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home with a little welcome basket and by accommodating our earlier check-in time. She was very easy to communicate with via text/email and responded promptly. The apt looks as it does in the listing, although it's a bit dark during the day as it is a lower ground floor apt - but it was fine since we were out and about. It was our fault for not doing research but the Bedford-Stuyvesant area isn't one of the best areas of Brooklyn (we had 3 gates/doors/locks to get into our apt) and it's quite far - about 20 min by car - from the bridges into Manhattan or the younger, up and coming areas of Brooklyn (Williamsburg, Dumbo). The subway is about a 15 min walk to the apt (0.7 miles) and since it's not the best area, we ended up cabbing/Ubering to the bridges or into the city, which was a bummer and got expensive. Overall, a quality, affordable NYC apt but not very convenient if you're looking to spend most of your time in Manhattan.

I'm a Native New Yorker. I am also a U.S soldier returning from a tour overseas. I absolutely enjoyed serving my country while visiting several countries in Europe. I met many gracious hosts during my travels and now i would like to return the favor.
