Beautiful modern newly renovated apartment. 2 huge ceramic tiled bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen, stainless steel and black appliances, fridge, microwave, stove, with a beautiful ceramic breakfast bar. 4 private bedrooms, perfect for a group of people traveling together yet rooms are spacious and separate from each other to provide maximum privacy for individual travelers.

located in the west loop of Chicago, directly across the United Center, stadium for the Chicago Bulls basketball team and the Chicago hawks hockey team. you can stand in front of house to take beautiful pictures of the downtown skyline, pictures of the statue of basketball legend Micheal Jordan. Busy Chicago night life a few blocks north and in the middle of everything in Chicago. plenty of restaurants and bars 1 block north of it. and the largest medical district in the U.S . to the north.

Check In
  • This place is cheap, host was friendly and literally across the street from United Center, therefore perfect locale to watch basketball games. In regards to the no parking during events regulations.. the side streets are free and if you just go out to eat dinner, it'd be over before you know it and then you can park again right in front of the house.

  • Located at a 10 to 14$ cab ride from the loop, jacobson's place is right in front of the united center. You can park right in front of the house easily. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The host was here when we arrived and provided us information on the good places to go while in town. Check out process was smooth.

  • It was a pretty comfortable night. Especially for someone who want to watch basketball game in the evening at United Center, it is the best location. warm, quiet enough.

    Response from Jacobson:

Thankz minsu for the review. and yes the basketball stadium and the chicago hawks stadium is directly across the street. and we have some good times at the games..

  • I will post my very honest review so all of you can benefit.

If you are looking for a backpacker type of experience, this is the place for you.

Or else.. it's not in a safe neighborhood (I personally lived various places before) and the quality is not what I have experienced from airbnb in the past (I lived upstairs). You really get what you paid for.

  • Jacobson was an excellent host during my stay at his apt in Chicago, which is very convenient to both the L and to Cook County / Illinois Medical District, where I had some business. The accommodations were clean and orderly, a room to myself in a 1st floor apt of a 2 story house, the 2nd floor of which is where Jacobson lives. He stopped by even though he was busy and jammed on the djebme for a little bit - would have hung out more but my schedule was very busy. Very friendly, accommodating guy. All in all an excellent stay.

  • Jacobson is such a pleasant, well-mannered host who made sure our stay from arrival to departure was enjoyable. Gave us very good suggestions where to eat, shop and frolic. His place is nested in a quiet neighborhood and compared to all the places we've stayed, probably the only one with FREE parking across the street - most places to park charge anywhere from 9 to 16 dollars or more. The rooms are clean with spacious closets. WiFi and two full bathrooms available made the stay convenient too - no wait time in case there are other guests. When coming from O' hare airport via CTA blue line, it would probably be easier to get off Damen station and take the bus straight to stop at Jacobson's block. Would definitely stay again here when in Chicago.
