The Space

Only 8 houses from the beach, this home is on a beautiful garden “walking street “ (the houses on the block face each other with a pedestrian walkway separating them, no cars or traffic: just lush gardens facing each other) Garage parking is conveniently located behind the house. This works out great, as parking is can be quite difficult. The garage has an electric door for convenience. The property is truly a 30 second walk to the beach and boardwalk. In my humble opinion, it is better than being directly on the boardwalk which can be a bit loud. I have a private front and back garden, so you would have your own secluded oasis to escape to. It is beautifully furnished and includes a bunch of amenities like bikes, beach chairs, surfboards. Located in the very heart of Venice, there are dozens and dozens of shops, restaurants and activities for all ages.

  • Bridget is the most wonderful and thoughtful host. Signs everywhere directing me to her amazing little cottage which is really like a stage set, everywhere you look is something interesting. Plus it was utterly comfortable and colorful and one block from the was like a beautiful movie set.

  • Bridget's Venice Beach house is an oasis! The location and tranquility while being located to everything in Venice is second to none. Bridget was very welcoming and helpful. The house itself is located on a peaceful walk street while being literally just steps to the beach. I took advantage of the numerous maps and foodie suggestion provided by Bridget. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Bridget for this memorable holiday experience!

  • What an beautiful beach house! Very cozy and clean. And Bridget is awesome! Her customer service is unsurpassed and very personable. I will definitely stay at her beach house on my next Venice Beach visit. We forgot a labtop at the beach house and Bridget was very helpful to ship it back to us, much appreciated.

Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

  • We loved this place, which was even more beautiful than it looked in the pics. It was the perfect place for our family as we didn't even need to cross a proper road to get to the beach. Bridget was very helpful and she is incredibly well organised, with books of customised information as well as maps of the area already printed out for guests to borrow. She was very welcoming about us bringing our toddler and even provided beach toys. The only minor downside was the light flooding into the bedroom early in the morning - but hey, it's the beach and it's good to be up early!

  • Our 3 days stay at Bridget´s Venice Beach House was amazing.
This house have more charm and character than I have ever before experienced.
The first night when we the garden was lighting up (which happens automatically) was magical.
We felt like being in Wonderland.

And that the house is close to the beach is an understatement. The beach is almost in your backyard :-)

    Bridget was a great host.
Easy to get in contact with, and very very flexible with our check in and check out.
We asked her to be able to check in early and check out late, simply because we wanted to get the most out of the 3 days.
And she gladly gave us that opportunity because her schedule allowed it.

We will be back without a doubt.

  • Bridget is a gem. Her home is a sanctuary of art and nature. You don't need a car--everything is walkable. There is a garage if you must drive. The garden in the back and the swinging chair on the porch enfold the inner and outer spaces. Walk to the beach at sunrise. Venice is another world as the sun appears.

Stay here. You will love it.

  • A truly magical house in an amazing neighborhood. Bridget's home is EXACTLY what you are thinking of when envisioning a Venice Beach home, in your mind. You couldn't ask for a more perfect location---it is literally half a block away from the action on Venice Beach, but somehow her block and home feel completely secluded. I couldn't recommend the home and the hosts highly enough!

  • Loved staying at Bridget's Venice Bungalow. Went on a business trip with 2 coworkers and really enjoyed it. Perks are location and private parking garage! Beach is super close. Abbot Kinney is a 10 min walk away and everything else is super easy to get to if you have LA traffic patience. Bridget was so sweet and waited for our late arrival. The house has such charm you feel like you are in your own bubble. She leaves all instructions very clear and available. Would stay here again and would recommend!

  • Great location in the heart of Venice Beach. Close enough to enjoy it and far enough to not have to live in the midst of it. A great place to experience one of the most unique neighborhoods in the US.
