From the house balcony, there is a great view of Poros day and night, a charming Greek island which is easily accessible through a short ferry ride every 30 minutes or by using the cute small boats which cross the canal every 5 minutes from Galatas.

Hydra, another great island with a traditional Greek town on which motorized vehicles are excluded, like going back in time, is just half-hour away with "flying dolphins" or 40 minutes drive to Metochi where boats go to Hydra every 2 hours.
