Modern, architect's apartment in Soho.
Outdoor space, clean interior, attractive designer furnishings and situated in one of the most sought-after locations in HK. A 5* rated choice for your stay in one of the best cities in the world
The apartment also has an outdoor space (a rarity in Hong Kong, especially in Central) which is newly furnished and looks onto the Escalator.
Inside there is 1 Bedroom with double bed, 1 large Dressing Room with terrace entrance, 1 Living Room with sofa bed & TV, 1 newly renovated Kitchen and 1 clean Bathroom. All rooms have new A/C units.
I moved from the UK 3 years ago and have gradually furnished my HK home to a modern, fashionable and clean taste.
The main selling point of this apartment is the location on the world famous Midlevels Escalator. The Escalator is the place to be in Hong Kong for trendy Restaurants, Bars, Shopping & Entertainment.
Caine Road, Midlevels where the apartment is situated is filled with amenities such as eateries, laundrettes and grocery stores to make your stay more comfotable.
Other Things to Note
I also have a cleaner who is available to come for 2 hours once per week at a small charge if requested and the apartment is equipped with WIFI.
Bed linen & Towels are provided.
Rachel was a wonderful host. Her listing was very accurate and such a great location. I will definitely keep her place in mind the next time I come to hk!
Rachel's apt looks exactly as it does in the photos. We jumped off the escalator and it was literally the first door you come to, so a perfectly central location for a few days stay in Hong Kong.
My friends took the bedroom and I took the sofa and the sofa bed was really comfortable, which is definitely not always the case.
The apartment is beautifully furnished, spacious (by Hong Kong standards) and well kept by Rachel, we had everything we needed.
The only slight downside was the water pressure is really poor at the sinks, although the shower was fine, so its pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. The apartment is a little noisy too given its location but its quite exciting being in the thick of it if you are visiting HK and we had no problems getting to sleep.
Thanks for a great stay Rachel
We (my wife and little boy) spent 3 nights at Rachel's apartment. The latest was as described and very convenient (one open kitchen very well equipped to cook, one spare room to put clothes and suitcases). Rachel's apartment is located in the heart of Soho near by shops, bars and park.
Rachel's apartment was as described and perfectly located in the heart of Soho near by countless number of restaurants, bars and shops.
We had a great stay with my little family.
Accommodation exactly as pictured and described. Met by Rachel as planned who provided a good explanation of apt. facilities and surrounding area attractions. Perfect location as it is right on the 'escalator' which serves as a central point for exploration. Host was very personable, helpful and accommodating. Very enjoyable stay - thanx Rachel.
Rachel was such a lovely host. She was very kind and very accommodating. I have so many questions but she was very patient with me. It was my first time to book thru airbnb and I must say that our first experience was a very good one. Her apartment looks the same as the photos she posted. It is very clean and cozy and worth every penny. It is near the midlevels escalator but you wouldn't hear any noise from the bars downstairs. There is a Starbucks, 7/11 and a Japan store nearby. If the driver can't locate where 59 Caine Rd is, you can just say that it is right in front of Gramercy Apartments. The terrace is such a nice place to have coffee in the morning or beers at night. The sofa bed in the living room is big enough for three people that we only stayed in the bedroom once. Water heater works perfectly and the airconditioning was A+. Few minutes after we left the Rachel's apartment, we were already experiencing separation anxiety. So when we go back to HK (which I am sure will be very soon!), we will definitely book this place again. Thank you, Rachel, and see you again! :)
This apartment was perfect for our group. Not as fancy as it appears in the picture but very comfortably fits 4 (two couples sharing the bed and pull out couch). The location is phenomenal- directly on the line of the mid-levels escalators in soho where a majority of ex-pats live. Also near to the two main metro lines (central and hong kong stations). Rachel was very nice, left a clear handout with recommendations and instructions, and was easy to communicate with What'sApp, texts or airbnb. I highly recommend this location for a visit to Hong Kong.
Friendly Junior Architect from the UK who travels frequently and is looking for pleasant, clean, respectable people to let out my apartment when I am gone at a reasonably price.
More than happy to answer any questions and send more images if requested.
