GREAT value and a reasonably short walk to both 30th and Broadway Stations. It's pretty quick to Manhattan really, so good location and a number of supermarkets, healthfood stores, laundrymats, cafes etc nearby - including the Greek Cafe - Omonia with Greek cakes about a 10 min walk away on Broadway. The Kitchen (downstairs) had just about all you need ( not sure how different the upstairs kitchen was in terms of pots and pans) and there was a very friendly feel even though the area/house itself is pretty quite. Each room is quite different so take a look at the photos and reviews but - I definitely recommend

The place is beautiful-- cozy, warm, quiet, and best of all comforting. Manson was also very quick to reply and very cordial and kind! Made me love Astoria even more than I already do. (:

Standard room shown in the pictures did not agree with what I found on the spot on AirBnB website. - The bathroom was very dirty, for many years has not been cleaned. We felt fear before entering the shower - The room had rearranged the furniture, dirty carpet, light was out of order - The window was leaking, the wind blew through the leaks, which did not allow to sleep comfortably on the bed facing the window (It is winter!).

Location was near train station but NY's transit system can be unreliable sometimes. It takes about 30 mins to Midtown from Manson's place. Very spacious room for luggages n very clean bathroom.

We had a great stay at Manson's in Astoria! Great value for the price and we enjoyed taking the subway into Manhattan, the station was close to ththe apartment and was a short ride. It's in an older building, but everything was very clean and Manson provided everything we could need. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to stay in NYC on a budget!
