Our guest apartment is a comfortable home away from home. We do our best to provide any amenities guests might need while in the Beaufort area, whether it be for work, vacation, or to see a family member graduate from Parris Island.
1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house (sleeps up to 4). Lots of off-street parking for a trailer/boat/RV, quiet neighborhood, private entrance, bedroom balcony, wi-fi, full bed, queen sofa bed, portable crib and high chair, private kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and cookware. Within 5 minutes of downtown Beaufort, Port Royal, and Parris Island. About 25 minutes to the beach at Hunting Island, and about an hour to Charleston and Savannah.
Guests have access to the guest house, and we are more than happy to let them use our charcoal grill, or beach blankets and chairs, along with our pass to access the Hunting Island state park and beach.
Interaction with Guests
We greet every guest when they arrive, show them the space, and then let them have their privacy. We are close by in case any of our guests have questions.
The neighborhood is quiet and comfortable, a great place to raise our young son. The spanish moss hanging from all the trees is a beautiful feature that lends our neighborhood its name (Mossy Oaks).
Beaufort does not have any public transit. We do have a large driveway that can accommodate multiple cars, a boat, or an RV. Getting to Beaufort from either Charleston or Savannah is a pretty straightforward trip.
No smoking inside.
Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises.
Owners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest(s).
Keep all property and furnishings in good order.
Only use appliances for their intended uses (no burning of anything other than charcoal in the grill, for example).
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit non beach towels or linens to be taken from the guest house. Laundry service can be requested from the Owners ($5/load).
Charcoal grill must be cleaned after use. Charcoal may be available, but it is not the Owners' responsibility to provide charcoal if it is not present. No inappropriate materials are to be burned in the grill, and it must be operated at least 20' away from any building. Hot ash/coals are to be left in the closed grill until they are fully extinguished and cooled.
Do not set the air conditioning to lower than 80 degrees F or the heat to higher than 65 degrees F if gone for an extended period of time.
In the event of a storm or hurricane, no refund will be given unless a mandatory evacuation is ordered by local, state, or federal officials.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable and worked out well for our Christmas morning family celebration and for our 5 day visit in Beaufort. Very close and convenient to our daughter and son-in-law who live at the Preserve. We appreciated the use of the Hunting Island State Park pass. We spent a couple of hours on the beach on Friday. It was a beautiful and calm day out there.

Nice place to stay. Very close to Parris Island, very comfortable. All the essentials are there. No worries here. Great communication.
The cottage is delightful! Donna met me when I got there, gave me the keys and a pass for Huntington Island and we chatted briefly. Everything was neat, clean and cared for. Very quiet neighborhood, draped in Spanish Moss, exactly two miles from middle of Bay Street in historic district. Beautiful hardwood floors, claw foot bathtub, large closet. Very relaxing trip!
We enjoyed our short stay in Andrew's cottage which is situation in a very pleasant neigborhood. It's nothing fancy, just comfortable and well-equipped. Andrew had an array of brochures, games, books, and just about anything that would help a tourist relax and enjoy their time in Beaufort.
Host welcomed us as we arrived, showed us around, then gave us our space for rest of weekend . Guest house was exactly as billed: quiet and private. Modest neighborhood that is not too far from town.
I had a great experience with Andrew. He made sure to greet me at check-in and helped me with my suitcase. The apartment was great- cable, AC, a cozy bed, kitchen area etc. The neighborhood is awesome as well. I had a great time in Beaufort & I would definitely recommend this listing!
it was just amazing oh my god Andrew and his wife just incredible they are so nice and helpful honestly a great experience, my wife and I don't have enough words to describe staying at Andrews place but a great experience I highly recommend staying here if you re in the town of Beaufort better than any hotel you will find in town and the place is a home away from home...
