About This Listing
Our guest apartment is a comfortable home away from home. We do our best to provide any amenities guests might need while in the Beaufort area, whether it be for work, vacation, or to see a family member graduate from Parris Island.
1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house (sleeps up to 4). Lots of off-street parking for a trailer/boat/RV, quiet neighborhood, private entrance, bedroom balcony, wi-fi, full bed, queen sofa bed, portable crib and high chair, private kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and cookware. Within 5 minutes of downtown Beaufort, Port Royal, and Parris Island. About 25 minutes to the beach at Hunting Island, and about an hour to Charleston and Savannah.
Guests have access to the guest house, and we are more than happy to let them use our charcoal grill, or beach blankets and chairs, along with our pass to access the Hunting Island state park and beach.
Interaction with Guests
We greet every guest when they arrive, show them the space, and then let them have their privacy. We are close by in case any of our guests have questions.
The neighborhood is quiet and comfortable, a great place to raise our young son. The spanish moss hanging from all the trees is a beautiful feature that lends our neighborhood its name (Mossy Oaks).
Beaufort does not have any public transit. We do have a large driveway that can accommodate multiple cars, a boat, or an RV. Getting to Beaufort from either Charleston or Savannah is a pretty straightforward trip.
No smoking inside.
Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises.
Owners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest(s).
Keep all property and furnishings in good order.

We had a wonderful two night stay! Close to downtown Beaufort and our favorite beach at Hunting Island State Park! Weather was fabulous! Perfect getaway.
We had a great time in this cozy private place! Andrew answered (very quickly) all my questions before we checked in & his wife met us & showed us around. I loved how they just left us alone but I knew they were available if we needed anything. The place is great!! It is super clean, quiet & very charming. You can tell they have really thought about what you might need & it is all there. I would definitely recommend & hope to stay there again the next time we are in the area!
We had such a marvelous time at this beautiful place! It was just perfect for myself, husband, and our three year old son. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the little porch listening to cicadas and frogs while having morning coffee and/or an evening glass of wine. The claw foot tub was perfect for a nice soak to wash off the salt and sand from the days adventures.
We greatly appreciated the Hunting Island Park pass and definitely utilized it every day! It was wonderful to be able to spend all day in the sun and sand then return to such a peaceful spot.
Greatly enjoyed! Many thanks for the delightful experience! :-)
Let me start by saying that we LOVED this apartment. It was wonderful! It was cute, clean, and came with many little extras that made us feel very at home after a 13 hour drive to get there. The apartment was supplied with full size bottles of shampoo, body wash, conditioner, there were razors and shaving cream, the kitchen had dishes and aluminum foil, charcoal, there were DVDs, books, and a binder with pamphlets about the area, just about anything we could need was already there. The balcony was nice to sit out on, and the yard is very green and lush so it felt quite private. One of the absolute best things was the pass to Hunting Beach. We had the occasion to be in Beaufort to attend our son's graduation from boot camp at Parris Island. We knew little about the area, and nothing about Hunting Beach, but we used the pass and were able to discover and enjoy this beautiful paradise for free! When we arrived, we were greeted by Donna who gave us our key and showed us to the apartment. About a half an hour later a severe thunderstorm was approaching and Andrew made sure to let us know to take cover and be safe by texting me the information promptly. Our hosts were wonderful, in that they greatly respected our privacy and gave us lots of space and freedom while on their property. We were traveling with friends who also took a look at the apartment and were very impressed and said they may use it in the future as well. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here!! Thank you so much Andrew and Donna!
Our hosts Andrew and Donna were extremely welcoming. They were there to meet us and immediately told us about the apartment and the neighborhood. The listing was even cuter then it is in the photo's and the neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located near the bike path and groceries stores.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable and worked out well for our Christmas morning family celebration and for our 5 day visit in Beaufort. Very close and convenient to our daughter and son-in-law who live at the Preserve. We appreciated the use of the Hunting Island State Park pass. We spent a couple of hours on the beach on Friday. It was a beautiful and calm day out there.
