About This Listing
Cosy private room in the trendy Nørrebro area of Copenhagen. Fits up to 3 and is located on a quiet street close to coffee shops, bars, parks, train station and great shopping facilities. The apartment holds access to a lovely rooftop terrace.
Hi, I'm Chris
Welcome to my place, which is situated on a nice and quiet street in the trendy area of Nørrebro. An area perfect for young people who like an urban and cultural atmosphere. The area has a very good variety of nice speciality shops, coffee places and green areas, and is at the forefront of Copenhagen nightlife, presenting a vital live music and clubbing scene for those who prefer their night out a bit off the mainstream.
The dining on Nørrebro is dominated by the ethnic diversity of the district, so everything from middle eastern over Thai to Japanese cousine can be found here - AND you can enjoy some of Copenhagen’s best coffee and hippest bars here!
It's not far from the City Centre. You can easily walk or take the bus, which stops right around the corner. There is also a great supermarket just around the corner, and several others down the street as well.
The apartment has two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom and you will be sharing the apartment with my roommate. The room which you'll be renting has a double bed, suitable for two people, with the possibility of a large air mattress, should you stay more than two people.
I will provide clean sheets and linens for both.
The apartment has a nice kitchen with a gas stove, and you are welcome to keep food in the fridge, cook, make coffee etc.
The place also comes with a nice rooftop terrace, with a view of the northwestern part of the city.
If there is anything special you would like to see or do in Copenhagen during your stay, I will be more than happy to give you some great tips.
Looking forward to seeing you :-)
The room you'll be renting comes with a large screen TV, which will be available for your viewing pleasure. There's also a record player with tons of records for you to play.
You can also connect your phone, computer or iPod to the receiver, if you want to listen to your own music.
There's free Wi-Fi in the whole apartment as well.
There's a washroom in the basement, where you will be able to wash clothes should you need to.
You can get to the apartment by taking the bus 5A, which goes straight from both the airport and the central train station to Nørrebro, where you'll be staying. The bus stops approximately two minutes from the apartment.
My experience in Copenhagen was incredible! So much so that I have already planned my trip back :) Staying at Chris's is undoubtedly the main reason why I enjoyed CPH so much. He is a great host, very easy going and accommodating. He was more than a host, we actually became friends and I will always contact him when I'm in Denmark! And the neighborhood, Nørrbro, is perfect for young, hip travelers. It feels like the Brooklyn of Copenhagen and I loved every minute. I highly recommend staying here!
Communication by text was OK with Christoffer. The appartment also was OK, though the experience with the tiny "WC & BAD" was a bit unusual for us, and the downstairs key was very tricky. We thought it was a quite secure area, but one of our bicycles was stolen just in front of the buiding during our second night, despite the bike lock.
Chris was very friendly and chill, and his apartment looks just as cool as the photos (the bathroom, however, is unusually tiny). He was very nice to accommodate our schedules and needs! The location is a little off the main road, and up a few flight of stairs (mindful if you have luggage).
The description and photos perfectly represent the experience! A fantastic value for money. We enjoyed having breakfast on the rooftop deck. Beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom shower is a little weird (maybe common for Denmark, but I've never seen it in America), but it was fun! Chris was very helpful and responsive.
Christoffers place is very well located, and the flat was quite clean. There's enough room for four people to stay comfortably. Definitely recommended. :)
