Two-story, large, very clean, bright and airy guest residence on corner lot lined with beautiful live oak trees. Close to the best restaurants in Austin, 9 miles from the airport and only 2 miles from downtown.
This Large (920 sq ft), bright and airy, two-story guesthouse has two bedrooms, a queen sized bed downstairs and a king sized bed upstairs, each with quality linens and bedding. Each floor has a small kitchenette with individual compact refrigerator, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, dinnerware, flatware, glasses and wine glasses. Please note there is no stove or oven.
Each floor has an area for sitting and reading and an area for dining. Organic coffee, tea, yogurt, breakfast bars and orange juice provided. Large, flat screen television with cable downstairs and smaller, flat screen television with cable upstairs. High speed wireless internet and stereo/CD player. A spiral staircase leads to the spacious second floor which has bamboo flooring throughout and a private balcony surrounded by 50 ft live oak trees. The balcony is a wonderful spot for enjoying morning coffee and the evening sunset. Downstairs bathroom with large, walk-in shower. Complimentary bath soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Many local bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and live music venues are within walking distance. Bus stop two blocks away. Housekeeping service available.

Within walking distance of South Congress (SOCO), South Lamar (SOLA) and South First (SOFI) and very close to Austin's top-rated restaurants and popular live music venues. Tennis courts are one block away. Bike, kayak and canoe rentals are available within 2 miles.
Swimming at Barton Springs, Zilker Park and Deep Eddy are very close. Walking and running trails at Lady Bird Lake are less than 2 miles away. The Sixth street, Second street, Warehouse and Rainey Street entertainment districts are a short bus or cab ride away. Also close- by are Auditorium Shores, the Convention Center, Whole Foods Market, the Long Performing Center and the Texas State Capitol.
The property has beautiful, 50 foot live oak trees throughout the yard which provide a lovely landscape and surround the residence and the Treetop Guesthouse.
We are 9 miles from Austin Bergstrom International Airport ($20 Uber, Lyft or cab ride), 2 miles from the Austin Amtrack station and 2 blocks from city bus stops.
