  • This was my second stay at the Treetop Guesthouse, and once again it did not disappoint. The bed was very comfortable, the coffee was good, plenty of drinks in the fridge, and a wonderful host. I was able to meet Susan this time. Susan was able to point my wife and I to some good local spots. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Austin!

  • This was the perfect first airbnb experience. The place was amazing. Everything was top of the line, and suited us so well, it felt like Susan must know us. Very comfortable, spacious, and convenient. I hope to make this my home-away-from-home whenever I visit Austin.

  • We stayed two colleagues with Susan for SXSW during 4 nights. Everything was perfect and so comfortable. After being picked up in the airport, we arrived at the great guesthouse that beats any hotel suite in town. Filled fridge with juice, water and local brew, coffee machines on both floors and even fresh muffins. Susan was a great host and the house was absolutely spotless. We loved staying there. We walked downtown a couple of days, or took the walk to South Congress and grabbed breakfast and then a couple of city bikes to go down town. If i'm going back to SXSW, Susans place is on the very top of my list. Emil

  • My stay at the Galindo Treetop Guesthouse was my first experience with Airbnb - I couldn't be more pleased! The Treetop Guesthouse is really a wonderful, charming house. I was traveling alone, but this place would also be great for one or two couples or a family.

The house is so clean and cute with a ton of space. It had everything I needed - a place to sleep, a place to work, wifi, TV, coffee, microwave, refrigerator. And the location is great - so centrally located with so much nearby - plenty of food and entertainment within walking distance or just a few minute drive.

Susan, the hostess, was very helpful and accommodating. She does a great job of making sure her guests feel at home and have everything they need. I won't hesitate to stay here again.

  • We had a wonderful stay in the treehouse. It's in a quiet little neighborhood that was really convenient to downtown and to So Co area. Susan was such a gracious host and she even let us borrow her own iron because my husband feels he needs to iron EVERYTHING! LOL

The guest house is actually two separate rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor, but they share a bathroom. Loved it Loved it Loved it. We will definately be staying again next time we are in Austin.

  • Susan and Diane were fantastic hosts. They really went above and beyond-- we arrived late on New Years Eve to Austin and Diane was kind enough to offer us a ride in order to make our dinner reservation on time and avoid tricky parking in Downtown Austin!

The place is so clean and homey and has everything you could possible need. Snacks and drinks in the fridge, great shower, toiletries, TVs, comfortable beds. Walking distance to lots of great stuff. Quiet safe neighborhood. Really highly recommend it!

  • We loved our stay at Susan's. The location is centrally located and within walking distance of great restaurants, food truck parks & shops. We could not have asked for a better place or host. Susan was so thoughtful and with the smallest of details...suggestions for restaurants, landmarks, anything! Our next visit and stay will be at Treetop.

  • The Treetop Guest House is luxurious. The beds are super comfortable, the decor is lovely, and it is spacious. When we wanted to do things together there were these great sitting areas upstairs and downstairs, as well as on the upper deck....felt like we were sitting up in the trees with the birds. Then when we were needing space, it is designed to feel like two separate apartments, one upstairs and one downstairs. It is great to have that luxury...and having the mini kitchens both upstairs and downstairs gave us a chance to have coffee on our own in the morning. I really appreciated that. The entire place is light and feels clean, no clutter...just comforts. TV upstairs and downstairs was nice, and super easy way that they did private entry code and wifi code. The place was full of little gifts...both mini fridges had nice surprises, candy on the bed tables and the toiletry items were so nice that we went on amazon and ordered some for ourselves before we left. The neighborhood is beautiful, super close to all that we wanted to do at zilker park, and downtown...everything minutes away. We even got good movie tips from Susan and Diane. Next time we come we plan to reserve tennis courts at the South Austin tennis club, that is so close it makes sense to walk rather than drive. The house was so pretty, the pictures just couldn't capture it on the website.... and the pictures were the reason we picked it. Plan to go back soona and stay in the Treetop.
