Craig was a FANTASTIC host!
First off, his home is so beautiful and comfortable. I definitely came home with ideas about how to spruce up our place. Our guest room was cozy, stocked with toiletries, and featured an exterior door to a tiny little balcony overlooking the backyard. The backyard and garden were very charming, and we enjoyed spending some time under the grape arbor. My husband even enjoyed a few grapes straight off the vine!
As for the man himself, Craig is a completely lovely guy. When we invited him to join us for dinner on our first night in town, he responded by offering to drive us into Detroit and give us a tour. Seeing the city through Craig's eyes completely changed the image of Detroit that the media had created for me. What a cool, gorgeous downtown it has! What an interesting mix of cultures! We shared a pizza with Craig and got to know him a little better. It was the highlight of our trip.
Craig's house gets a gold star, a thumbs up, and a round of applause.
Craig was super accommodating a great host during our recent trip to michigan. The house was super clean, comfortable, and in quite neighborhood. If i was in the Dearborn area again I would defiantly stay again.
Our stay with Craig and Scott was perfect. Craig was there to welcome us, show us around and offered us use of the kitchen and large tv. The room was comfortable and the house is walking distance to all we wanted. We were independent but Craig was always a text away and very accommodating. Craig also got us oriented at Greenfield Village one day and the Henry Ford Museum the next. These are world class attractions and staying with Craig and Scott topped off a fantastic weekend.
Craig & Scott were great hosts. Their house has old world charm and is artfully updated to keep architectural interest. Great area. Very quiet. Very safe. I've never seen such a clean house. A+
I honestly could not have imagined a better way to spend my three weeks! From the very first night, I felt very welcome, as if seeing old friends. Craig and Scott were extremely hospitable and truly helped me get the best and most of my time during my fieldwork. They are both treasure troves of knowledge about the area, and are open to talking about pretty much anything. They are inclusive and inviting, which was perfect considering I didn't really know anyone in the area. Lulu, the cat, was a nice comfortable companion. She's got a personality of her own that you can't help but love!
This was my first experience using Airbnb and the description could not have been more accurate! The place was immaculate and the neighborhood felt very safe. It was a quiet, quaint stay that provided the environment I needed to get work done. Of course, it also provided the option to experience the life and culture of both Dearborn and the Detroit area. All around, they offer a 5 star experience that I would highly recommend!
We stayed 3 nights on the Craig and Scott house and it was amazing! Unfortunately we didn't met Craig but only Scott and Loulou the cat! (sorry for the orthography). He was very kind and helpful, he came with us to the Henry Ford Museum and thanks to him we had free entry.
Loulou stayed with us when we watched movies or she came in the bed in the morning, she was so cute :-D
We loved Dearborn it's a very nice place to stay, much better than the center of Detroit.
About the facilities, the room is clean and well-equipped, the bed is perfect for two. The bathroom is also clean, we had linens and shampoo. And in the living room there is a big flat screen perfect for watching movies :-) You can park the car just beside the house so it's secure and very convenient. There is also a garden behind the house, it's equipped with chairs and table and if you are lucky you can see babies rabbit and other animals (squirrel, chipmunks, rabbit) running in the garden.
We loved that place and we recommend at 100%!!
I really enjoyed my stay with Craig and Scott. They had great ideas about what to see and do. The room and house was accurately described, peaceful and clean. The location was great and close to downtown Detroit. I would highly recommend staying with Craig and Scott because they made me feel at home as well as being great hosts!
