The Space


Perfect Sydney Location
This beautiful apartment is centrally located between Sydney Harbour and Bondi Beach on a quiet street in an exclusive area.Close to all the popular spots but without the noise, a short walk in either direction puts you on the ferry service around Sydney Harbour, the quaint restaurants and shops of Plumer Road or at the nightlife and beach scene of Bondi.

The Apartment
The apartment would particularly suit a couple with one or two children or those visiting friends/family in the Eastern Suburbs area. Two couples would also find the place comfortable. There is plentiful parking so those with a car would find the location particularly convenient and all popular spots only a few minutes drive. For those walking, Bondi Beach is approximately 15 minutes in one direction and the ferry/harbour a 15 minute walk in the other direction.

The apartment has been recently architecturally renovated with modern fine custom joinery finishes whilst still integrating the warmth of art deco period features. It includes floating spotted gum floorboards, open plan living/dining/kitchen, two large bedrooms, contemporary bathroom with shower/bath, corian custom bench-tops, an industrial look kitchen and external laundry.

  • Had a lovely time at Bondi Beach and Harbour Beauty. The location is perfect for both Bondi Beach and Rose Bay. Access to the city is easy.

  • We had a lovely time at this apartment in Sydney. It was perfect for our 4 year old daughter and provided us with a great base to explore Sydney and unwind. Both Gail and Henry were very helpful with regard to all queries and requests and I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Sydney.

  • I booked Gail and Henry's flat for my parents to stay in whilst visiting me in Sydney. It was perfect for them and felt like home away from home for ten days. The lounge and dining area was light, bright and modern so we made the most of breakfasting together and enjoying sunny mornings. The bedrooms had empy cupboard and drawer space for them to unpack properly too. The flat was left embeccably clean and tidy for their arrival which was most appreciated.
    Dad did a morning walk each day to Bondi Beach or Rose Bay on the harbour, which were 10 or 15 mins either way. We also made the most of local cafes at Plumer Rd which were just a stroll away. Perfect location!
    Thanks so much Gail and Henry. They would love to stay again when back in Sydney.

  • This is a fabulous apartment in the best spot in Sydney (and maybe the world!). My wife and I and our 18mth old son stayed here and enjoyed the 5 minute drive to Bondi for morning swims and the 10-15minute commute to the City for meetings.
    Gail and Henry were extremely generous and easy hosts. The apartment has beautiful fittings and there is everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay - even milk and some basic foods to get us through the arrival! I would highly recommend this apartment and leasor to anyone visiting Sydney.

  • We've just come away from a lovely weekend in Sydney staying at Gail and Henry's beautiful flat. They couldn't do enough for us and the accommodation itself was lovely, extremely clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the chance to holiday in a 'real' apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. Walking down to the ferry at Rose Bay was easy and gave us access to the whole harbour which was great - we travelled by ferry to Watson's Bay, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Milson's Point (Luna Park). It was a bit of a challenge walking back up the hill after a big day out so we generally caught a cab. The Plumer Rd shops were divine and Bondi was not far away either for meals, markets of the cliff walk round to Bronte Beach. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks so much Gail and Henry.

  • Gail was such a fantastic host and was quick to respond to any questions. The house was light and clean and the kitchen was modern. The location was tucked away in a lovely tree lined street, yet was close enough to walk to Bondi. We hired bikes as per Gail's recommendation and had a fantastic time, we hope to be back soon.

  • My partner and I, his business partner and wife all stayed in Sydney for a couple of days. We were very pleased to stay at Gail and Henry's place. It is a lovely apartment in the beautiful suburb of Bellevue Hill. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, and has everything you need. I also loved the light coming through the rooms. The neighbours are quiet and very polite. Half way between the CBD and Bondi Beach - this place was the perfect match.
    One morning we went for breakfast at The Sailors Club, not far from the apartment; good food and great view on Rose Bay.

    The only thing I would recommend when staying there, is to hire a car...even though the 1st bus stop is only 10 mins walking distance...Sydney still is a pretty big city and taxis get expensive.

    Next time we're in Sydney, I hope Gail and Henry's nest will be free - so we can stay there again!

  • We travelled by car from Melbourne which was convenient for us as parking was available on the street. The apartment felt like home all the facilities you need were available, the kitchen is amazing I didn't want to leave. Bellevue Hill is a quiet suburb and the perfect location to get around, practically in the middle from city and Bondi. If you head to Bondi you must do the walk from Bondi down to Coogee Beach it's incredible, Gail had provided brochures to all the insights of Sydney which assisted us greatly. Also have to experience Spice & Wine Restaurant in North Bondi - Fantastic!

    Gail & Henry were very prompt in the process of our travels. We had an amazing and comfortable stay at their apartment, would recommend it for anyone and we would definitely stay there again.

Welcome to Sydney. We hope you will enjoy our lovely place in a perfect Sydney location. I am originally from the USA but was transferred to Sydney just before the Olympic games in 2000. I met my husband, Henry, a few months later. We married in 2007 and have a daughter, our little Lily, turning 5 and starting Kindergarten next year. Henry is an architect and I am a consultant in education and training. Our place is great for people who like to get out, be social and take part in all Sydney has to offer but then come back to a quiet little santuary. Our unit is in a small block of 4 with a young family next to us and two pensioners who live below, so our place is not conducive to backpackers or those who want to party at home -- nothing wrong with that, its just that our neighbours would find it difficult.
