  • What a wonderful time I spent in Hawthorne... Ashley and her partner were absolutely wonderful and joyous, and the neighborhood was great! It was perfectly located, and so easy to navigate around Portland. Lucy the kitty became a nice friend :)

  • Ashley and Eric are so wonderful and welcoming. They were so helpful and gave me many tips about the different parks in Portland. They have a warm and lovely home and a beautiful cat -- Lucy. My room was clean and cozy, perfect for getting some work and reading done. But be careful -- Lucy will sit on your laptop... and on you... and next to you.

Thanks so much -- you both made my stay so pleasurable. I had such a difficult time leaving!

  • Ashley and Eric were super warm and welcoming and their warmth is extended throughout the home. I had a short stay but I enjoyed their company and the neighborhood very much. And although we were sharing the space, I felt free to come and go without being a bother. Thank you!

  • Ashley was very welcoming, we especially liked Lucy, her cat. Great location to stay for exploring this funky Portland area.

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and it was great! Before arriving at Ashley's home, she provided my friend and me with a list of restaurants around the area to check out - all of which were delicious. The room was cozy and clean. Her cat was super friendly as well :) We were in walking distance of several different neat bars/restaurants/shops etc which was really nice. I really loved the neighborhood and would definitely stay again!

  • Ashley's place is ideally located in the heart of central SE Portland. Since I was there to find a place to live, it was a great location for getting to all parts of the city quickly. Very comfortable room and I appreciated the Roku set-up so I could watch Netflix at night. I was out and about all day everyday, so it was a nice place to crash out in. Her cat Lucy is really sweet and Ashley is a really nice person. Great if you just need the basics and a cozy place to sleep.

  • Ashley was a wonderful hostess and the apartment was super cute. We also got along great with her cat, very sweet. We loved the location, couldn't have asked for anything better. The walk to both Belmont and Hawthorne were very easy and quick, as well as a walk to the bus lines to get around. We look forward to our next visit to Portland!

  • Lorrie and I had a wonderful time staying with Ashley this past weekend. The apartment is perfectly situated to explore the nearby Hawthorne and Belmont neighborhoods.

Ashley is a wonderful hostess. Tea and toast were available every morning. The room was plenty big enough for the two of us, very clean and comfortable.

We look forward to catching up with Ashley the next time we're in Portland!

About
Hello! I'm in my 40's and a teacher for 10 year olds to graduate students. My interests are outdoor activities, ecstatic, contact dance and yoga. I love to travel and have spent a fair amount of time overseas. I first used AirBnB in San Francisco and South America as a guest and met wonderful people from all over the world. I am happy to engage in conversation over tea or give you privacy if that's what you seek. Welcome to my home!
