The Space

Why spend your time in New Orleans in a hotel room when you can live with the locals! Located in the heart of the French Quarter, this charming, dream unit is a small yet awesome, private studio. The unit's doors open directly onto a private courtyard, which is shared by another unit and the homeowners. The unit's Queen bed, full private bath with shower and small kitchenette offer all you need for a great stay. Very private and super close to EVERYTHING.

Attached to a magnificent home built circa 1844, this lovely cottage is located on Orleans Avenue, between Burgundy and Rampart in a historic and quaint area of residential homes. Safe, secure and with a private gated entrance, our guest quarters are located in a quiet and friendly residential neighborhood - a very easy and short walk to local pubs, restaurants, open markets, public transportation (buses and street cars) and shopping, museums and much more.

We take a great deal of pride in our rental. Living on the premises also offers us the opportunity to get to know our clients and to be on hand to address any questions or concerns that may arise.

Flat screen TV, cable, free wifi, parking pass and all the inside scoop on what's going on in New Orleans!

For your comfort we have air conditioning and heating systems, and our unit can accommodate 2 people. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed, small sitting area, and connects to the bathroom. Our full bathroom has been recently renovated. Shower only.

The unit is comfortably furnished with a mix of antiques and artwork as well as modern creature comforts to make sure your stay is perfect. We provide everything from linens and towels to a kitchenette with coffee maker, small refrigerator, microwave, and furnished courtyard. We provide you with coffee, cream, tea, plus any special requests - please let us know what you need!

Sit and relax in the courtyard and listen to the St. Louis Cathedral chimes, the clip clop of the horse-drawn carriages, the distant sound of the Steamship Natchez's horn. Or join us in the neighborhood for an evening cocktail and meet your neighbors. Up and about early - perhaps a short walk to the French Market for beignets and cafe au lait...the possibilities are as endless as New Orleans!

  • The studio was a wonderful solution to my needs: staying alone in Nola for a few nights and wanting to be in or near the Quarter but not in the heart of it. The room is not meant for lounging: it's modest in size, really just a bedroom with sink and mini-fridge and coffee-maker and doesn't get a lot of natural light. But it's well appointed, very clean, has everything you need, and I found it both comfortable and pleasant, especially combined with the small courtyard, where I took my morning coffee and sat to read with OC, the orange cat. The location is as good as one could hope for if, like me, you are on a budget and want to be in the beauty of the quarter while avoiding the insanity and tackiness that saturate everything in the area bounded by. say, Dauphine, Dumaine, Canal and the river more or less. I'd definitely stay in the studio again, especially if traveling solo. If in a couple or certainly if traveling with my wife and daughter, I'd maybe lean toward the upper unit if available. But the studio could work fine for two. A great stay and Kyo, who manages the rentals, was helpful , responsive, just great. I'd certainly stay again.

  • This was in a great location! Easy to find and very cute how it was set up and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay! The courtyard was a great place to just hangout and enjoy the nice weather! We hung out with OC (cat) and their other two dogs which were all very friendly which made us feel more at home since we are animal lovers!! Needing a key to get into and out of the courtyard made it feel even more safe that we left our door open the majority of the day! Kyo was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed throughout our stay! We had a great time and if/ when we had back to NOLA we will be staying here again!!

  • Our stay here was awesome! Kyo had so many recommendations that really helped us find restaurants, bars, shops, etc. that were off the beaten path. Such a great location. We didn't have a car so we walked everywhere, and we felt this place was perfectly located. Bourbon St. was a 2-3 min walk. This place was very clean, and secure with locked gated entry. Very well lit at night. It is located underneath another apartment so sometimes you could hear someone walking back and forth. If you turned on the window fan it helped drown out the noise. It really wasn't bad, but it's a very quite place so that is all you could hear if you didn't have some other noise. Great outdoor sitting area. I would stay there again for sure.

  • We stayed here for just a couple nights but wish it could have been longer. This studio was perfect. It was in a great location. Easy to walk to all the main attractions including bourbon street. It was so nice to come back to the quiet studio after the craziness of Bourbon street.

The studio is quiet and very clean. The courtyard is a great place to relax and have a cup of coffee. Kyo was so nice and accommodating. It was my boyfriends first time using airbnb and he was skeptical but after the French quarter studio he is ready to use it again. Hopefully we will be back soon and staying here again!

  • Very close to bourbon street, excellent location. Comfortable and classy studio with everything needed for your stay and centrally located to be able to walk to all the major attractions. Great and really helpful management. Had no issues whatsoever. Great stay and trip!

  • I had a fantastic stay at the French Quarter studio. The location is perfect, two blocks away from a myriad of restaurants and bars and yet separated from the noise late at night. The studio itself was very nice and clean. Kyo was a great host – very friendly, attentive, and informative. I highly recommend staying at the studio. Thank you, Kyo!

  • We had a fabulous stay in this studio apt. It was perfect! Cozy and warm, during some very cold weather. We were especially happy finding a space heater for the bathroom and a coffee pot with some wonderful French Market coffee!! We never had to use our car during the entire stay. Everything is just a short walk away. Cafe Du Monde, a grocery/deli, Bourbon Street, and all the wonderful restaurants!! We will definitely stay there again!! Thanks Kyo, you were very helpful!!!!
