Surrounded by bars and restaurants, and bodegas open 24/7. Manhattan is only 7mins away by subway. Perfect location if you want to get in and out the city easily and experience both Brooklyn and Manhattan at the fullest. And Williamsburg brunches are the best in town!
A mere 100feet from the L train (Lorimer stop) and G train (Metropolitan Ave). Close to the neighborhood's best coffee shops, bars, restaurants, bodegas, and the big local park, McCarren Park.
It's also just a couple of blocks from Bedford Avenue. You can get to central Manhattan in 8-10min by train.
The apartment is very cozy, with 2 bedrooms, plus a windowless room / office. One main bedroom is for my boyfriend and I, the other one is for guests. The third windowless room has a futon sofa and a clothes rack and could be also be rented upon request for an additional fee.
The apartment has a private backyard - with barbecue grill, a table, a bench and some chairs -is on two levels and sunny all day.
-Fresh linens and towels
-Kitchen with fridge, stove, pots and pans
-Stereo and Record player
-Toiletries and a shower/bathtub
-Comforter and Pillows
-Queen Bed (sleeps 1 or 2 comfortably)
This apartment is a basement apartment with windows. Because it is in the basement it stays very cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
NOTE: we now have a very nice little dog named Skye, who is a gentle and friendly Shiba Inu. He hangs out with us when we're home and stays locked in his crate when we are out of the house.
We are usually around, but we also work on very flexible schedules, so you'll probably see in the morning and before dinner time.
Williamsburg is the BEST neighborhoods in NYC, probably in the entire country. Within a few blocks you'll find boutique hotels, cozy restaurants, pools, parks, art classes, culinary salons, bowling alleys, yoga studios, design stores and the best coffee shops in town.
L train and G train are just a few steps from our door. In 7 minutes the L train takes you to Manhattan, and runs through the East Village, Union Square, and Chelsea/Meatpacking District.

Pictures and descriptions in the ad were very accurate. Had a great time staying with Giorgia & Ben. Would definitely stay here again. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.
I had a great stay at Giorgia & Ben's homebase and I only can repeat what many airbnb-traveller already said: the host is very relaxed and let you do your thing but if you need any assistent or tips they're always there or reachable and very helpful. Williamsburg is a great place, the subway is only just around the corner and you're only 2 stops away from Manhattan. Even if Giorgia and Ben often working from home you always have the feeling that is really no problem and ok to move free in the small basement apartment. But - as also said often - you should love dogs, as it's always a loud welcome if you come back to your apartment. If I'm looking again for something perfectly located related to public transport I definetively will ask them again as you can reach really each point of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens ... with only one changee of subway line.
We had a great time staying with Giorgia and Benjamin (and Skye!). They were friendly and helped make our trip to NYC a wonderful experience. The location is very convenient, and it was easy to get around. As a vegan, I was happy to have three completely vegan eateries within a short walk, plus plenty of other options for food and drinks. If we get another chance to stay in NYC, we'll definitely look them up.
Giorgia and Ben's place is great! It's exactly as described in the profile, brilliant location, cosy little basement flat with an outdoor area. It was really clean, warm and I had a lovely welcome with great instructions about how everything works. My room was perfect, the bed was comfy and I had lots of privacy. Skye the dog was very cute although a little barky each time I arrived home. Thanks for a great stay guys - you have a brilliant neighbourhood and you've converted me to airbnb when I travel!
We had a great stay at Giorgia and Benjamin's place! They were not at home when we arrived, however they had left very clear instructions and all was arranged perfectly. The appartment is nice and the bedroom was all we could ask for: a comfortable bed, enough space for both suitcases and a table and chair with many brochures and booklets on things to do in NYC. It also has a lovely garden and is situated just next to the L-line, which brings you to Manhattan within 10 minutes. The neighbourhood is nice, with an abundant choice of restaurants. We felt safe at all times.
Ben and Giorgia are friendly people, in for a chat, however also respecting your privacy, which make them very good hosts and comfartable to be around.
We were really glad to spend one week at Georgia and Ben's apartment. They were both very welcoming and helpful but also discrete and not intrusive, perfect match! Sky (the dog) is so cute, however you should really like dogs if you want to stay there because he needs cuddles and attention. We slept extremely well in our little bedroom although you can hear the noise from the street (but like in any big city!!!). The size of the bedroom was big enough for the two of us, and the whole flat is really nice and quite sunny for a basement. Also, it is perfectly located! The neighborhood is perfect, the subway is just aside and you can be in Manhattan in less than 10 minutes!! Thank you Giorgia, Ben and Sky!
We really enjoyed our stay at Giorgia & Benjamin's place. The apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen, a nice room with a comfortable bed and a backyard to hang out. The location is perfect. Only 2 stops to Manhattan with the L train and a lot of nice and affordable bars and restaurants are close-by. Giorgia & Benjamin are gracious and helpful hosts and Skye (their dog) is lovely. They really make you feel welcome. We totally recommend this place.
Ben and Giorgia were very gracious and generous hosts. The room and the apartment were clean and had everything we needed for a week in NYC. Great neighborhood.
If you need someplace to use as home base during your trip to Brooklyn/NYC and don't mind if it is not the largest place with the most privacy (the apartment is small and noises carry, no fault of the hosts) and don't mind a very cute but barky dog this is the place for you. We would definitely stay here again. These guys were awesome.
We enjoyed our stay in Williamsburg with Giorgia & Ben. The apartment is as advertised, but surprisingly light for a basement space. The proximity to Lormier metro makes it easy to travel across Manhattan and we took full advantage of this during our stay. Ben & Giorgia are experienced and laid back hosts. They struck a perfect balance between being friendly and accessible while also allowing us to do our own thing. Skye the dog will announce everyone's arrival into the apartment. The trick is to give him a bit of attention and he quickly calms down :-). Overall a pleasant spot to stay.
Giorgia and Benjamin's place was great, close to heaps of good food and coffee and suuuuuper close to the Lorimer St station so really easy to get around! Plus the room had great airconditioning, the bathroom/shower were clean and working, there's a good laundromat nearby and it was an easy cab ride to JFK, so pretty much everything you need!! They were friendly hosts who had great recommendations and Skye was a real cutie!!
