Amber and Scott were incredibly nice and hospitable. Their home is beautiful and in a convenient location. I had a very pleasant stay!
Always feel welcome with Amber and Scott-good neighborhood and very clean house. Thanks again you two! See you next time. Joy
I moved to Kitchener/Waterloo from Scotland for a research job at the Perimeter Institute. I've never been to North America before and don't have friends or relatives here, but Amber and Scott made me feel right at home. In short, they're lovely people. They took me to watch my first live ice hockey match, which was a big step for me in coming to grips with Canadian culture. They also had no problem with me practising violin in the house to my heart's content. Staying with them was a lovely experience and helped me get on my feet in a new country. Brilliant.
I stayed at Amber's for a night back at the start of April. I was on my way from Buffalo to Toronto and decided to stay the night in Kitchener. It actually worked out pretty conveniently, as Kitchener has bus links to nearby Canadian towns/cities and also a train station with a train direct to Toronto.
The house was extremely clean and comfortable, although unfortunately I didn't get to talk to Amber and Scott as I arrived quite late. They seemed really nice from their messages though! If I'm ever in the area again I'd definitely stay again!
While my stay was a brief one night it was a very pleasant experience. Amber and Scott are gracious hosts and made me feel welcomed. The private room with futon was comfortable/clean and I appreciated having a desk to catch up on some work during my brief business trip to Kitchener-Waterloo. Highly recommended!
Scott and Amber were excellent hosts and I highly recommend their place for your stay. The house is very clean and centrally located within Kitchener, close to all amenities. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. I would happily stay with them again.
