  • Jolanda's apartment was exactly as represented by the pics and her listing. The location is an amazing, quiet, picturesque part of the Jordaan that makes you at once feel welcomed and part of being an Amsterdammer. It is close to everything and even if you are not on bikes, you can wonder aimlessly through the streets surrounding this apartment. Being on the first floor was the icing on the cake for this location. We were two adults and two teen daughters. While the apartment is smallish, we never felt crowded and had ample room. The appliances and wifi all worked without fault and there was coffee and condiments available when we arrived. The shower was fabulous and we did not lack hot water.
Jolanda made herself available from the beginning with great communication and meeting us on time at the apartment. We did not need much in the way of ideas or direction for our stay, but when we had questions she was spot on and gracious.
For our first use of AirBnb, we could not have done better. We recommend this apartment without reservation! We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

  • The apartment was great. Overall, very clean and had everything we needed. I would suggest this listing to anyone coming to visit. Nice comfy and affordable apartment in the heart of the city.

  • Stayed at the Jordaan apartment for 4 days and 4 nights. Jolanda's response time at the time of the initial inquiry and subsequent corrrespondance was very speedy and detailed. The apartments location is very good as well. Close to everything and on a charming little street.
However we were a little underwhelmed with the apartment itself. The pictures overstate the space in the flat, as the rooms are quite claustrophobic and the space quite small (bedrooms feel like closets). One of the bedroom's heater was not working so it was very cold at night. The tv was tiny and Internet connection extremely slow.
The apartment was quite grubby as well. A lot of dust everywhere, corners of the room were dirty and overall, toilets and common rooms felt a bit dirty. The bed sheets as well felt quite grubby.
Overall we had a nice stay, the highlights being the apartment's location, but if you're looking for a nice spacious and clean apartment, I wouldn't choose Jordaan apartments again, especially given value for money.

    Response from Jolanda:

    Hi Sacha,

Sorry to hear your comment. This is the first time that I' ve heard this. We always pay a lot of attention about the cleaning. This is very important for us. Everything was cleaned before your friends came (the day before you came) and all the linen in the bedrooms were directly from the laundry. We've just bought a new router for the apartment. If this was too slow it was a good idea to told me this when I' ve came by to ask if everything was alright. I will do a research on this and also about the cleaning. Thank you for your suggestions.

    Kind regards,

    Jolanda

  • We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Jordaan is probably one of the nicest locations to stay in Amsterdam. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. It was nice and clean and cozy.
Thanks to Jolanda for the nice stay!

  • This appartment is in a GREAT location! We couldnt have asked for better. It is is on the small side but its cute and unique. The box bedroom is very cosyJolanda makes sure you have everything you need and is very, very, helpful. We were very independent so did not need much advise, but she made sure we were ok. It's also nice to have so many good restaurants and shops around. My only callout is that perhaps the sofa area is limited, so if your are looking to lounge around in the evenings this is not your place. But other than that, this place met all of our expectations and we had a great stay. Would stay here again.

  • This apartment is really wonderful; clean tidy and full of character. The location is great and easily accessible for the rest of the Jordaan and wider Amsterdam.

Jolanda was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

  • We had a super but short stay at Jordana's unit. Really well located (all our A'dam friends told us to book in that area) this nice & cosy 2 bedrooms apartment is between 2 of the most popular canals. Jordana is super pro as she does everything to make you comfortable, she rents bikes, have a guest book full of tips (we followed some of them, all success). Do not hesitate! Jordaan is the best area to sleep we visiting A'dam
