Welcome on my sunny mini flat! It is placed on the 3th floor of an historical palace faced on Madonna Dei Monti Square in the oldest neighborhood of Rome, which is next to the Colosseum, the symbol of the capitol, the Fori Imperiali and the Palatino Hill. The area is full of cafè, trendy fashion shop, and art Gallery. The apartment is also close to the subway (2 minute by walk) and the central train station of the city:"Termini". It has a kitchen with everything you need, a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. You can use the terrace on the roof, linen is provided. There are also: tv color, VCR, stereo, private ac and hating, Wi fi line is included in the price.
I hope you'll enjoy the wonderful view of my apartment, in the positive and real atmosphere of the Monti district, the first quarter of the city, where you can still find the real Rome.

The Carolina's apartment is very well situated. It is in the historical center of the city, but there are not groups of tourists, just natives, so you can feel the city atmosphere. Under the widows there is piazza where all people get together so it can be a bit noisy, but that's the part of city atmosphere.

We had a lovely time in this cute apartment overlooking a pretty square. The square can get a bit rowdy but the location makes up for it, you are about 3 min walk from the colosseum, go to the square and look left.
Carolina was very easy to deal with and we recommend this apartment.
Carolina was a lovely host and her apartment is situated in a great location! Just steps from Cavour metro station and the Colosseum. Communication and meeting her was simple. The plaza right outside the apartment can get fairly lively at night (so light sleepers may get disrupted sleep) but I enjoyed the comotion and sound of people having a good time.
Our stay in Carolinas flat was great! The flat is in walking distance from many things in Rome but if you dont like walking the subway station is just around the corner. The piazza outside is a local meetingpoint which gives the square a genuine atmosphere and cafe's, shops and supermarkets are all close by. It was easy to get to the apartment from termini station and check-in and -out was also very easy. The kitchen was fully functional, the bathroom fresh but the airconditioner could be cooler. We were there in the middle of August, which was very hot, and although we didn't have any trouble sleeping it would have been comfortable with a slightly cooler apartment. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the place!
Our travell to Rome was wonderfull and flat is very good situated (7 mins walk from Colosseum). But there are some issues you might consider while planning your trip to Rome. This flat has its windows out to the square where people start gathering at around 5-6 pm and sit there till 2-3 am, and yes it is LOUD add to this the sound of empting trash containers and you will understand that there could be some sleeping issues (althoug there are earplugs). Air conditioner is very weak and somewhy it is very hard to get it working (just pressing button with no reply from it). So it was very hot there and we had to keep windows open (LOUD). Bathroom is ok, whereas kitchen has only one burner works from 4 and you have to light it with lighter, because electric lighter doesn't work also (i burnt my finger every time). Also there is no kettle (we asked host for it, but she missunderstood and thought that we asked for the printer). And the icing on the cake was the day of checkout when host didn't came to the apprtment at all! We text her, called, emailed her, but she doesn't came or answer (check out was 10 am, we waited till 2 pm and left, because we had flight).
Carolina's studio flat is lovely. It's very central, within walking distance of most of Rome's main tourist sites, but this part of the city also has a local vibe. In the evenings, people gather next to the fountain in the square below to drink and socialise. If you're keen for an early night, this flat might not be for you - it does get quite noisey outside - but we had a great time.
This was a great experience and very nice studio flat in a great part of Rome. Host was accessible and executed meeting us on time despite our delayed flight arrival after 9pm. There were inconveniences - like partial electricity shortage - but this host handled all matters with swift response time and hospitably. We look forward to our next visit!
