I had a very pleasurable stay at the Alexa hotel. Well priced simple hotel room with a full kitchen that doesn’t get much closer to the sights of Hollywood Boulevard. Martha was quick to help with any equerries, was on call if required and made it known that was nothing would be too much trouble when she asked if I needed anything. Thanks Martha and I’ll see you again in the near future.
Martha is a very accommodating host. She is quite attentive to the safety and comfort of her guests and maintained clear helpful communication with me.
I am between apartments and this made the transition a million times easier. Total recommend.
Awesome spot! Place is exactly as listed and Martha is a great host. She is very quick to respond and makes everything easy and super clear! Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something in the heart of Hollywood with walking distance to fun bars, toursity hot spots and more! Wifi is a little slow but otherwise everything else we needed was provided and very clean! Overall great stay!
I was a bit drawn back when I first arrived to the building. It was very old, a bit scary as you open the gate and walk through to the lobby area and hallways. However, the room itself is clean and well-kept for how old it is. Some amenities were provided such as, towels, shampoo and conditioner, iron and board, however no blow dryer. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils. The bed was comfortable but the sheets didn't smell very fresh. Every morning at 6am, I would hear stomping, things being dropped and furniture being moved around, which woke me up and I was unable to fall back asleep. The walls are quite thin as you can hear all the footsteps in the hallways. Despite all these drawbacks, the location of the building was great. Short walking distance to Walk of Fame and shopping area and clubs, which saves a lot on taxi. We parked next door for $16 overnight though we could have parked on the street and moved our car before 8am for free. After staying there for a while, I got used to the building and overall, had a good stay. If you mind not staying in a fancy nice place but just want the convenience of being close to everything, I recommend staying here.
Loved the room , have stayed there before, that's why I keep coming back! Great location
Stayed in this apartment for one week and it was awesome! Such a cute little apartment and more than enough room for two people. It was a bit colder while I was there and Martha provided me with a little heater that did it's job nicely and really heated up the whole apartment. The ONLY thing that I had trouble with was the parking at night. Maybe I didn't look hard enough but I ended up parking in the garage next door every night for $16 per night. It's $14 if you wake up at 5am and move your car, and I'm just not a morning person enough to do so. Overall this apartment was great. Perfect location and perfect size for me. :) Would definitely book through Martha again, I didn't get to meet her but she checked up on me and she made sure I had everything I needed! I highly recommend staying here!
As a person and as property manager, Martha is flawless. In the three times I have stayed at her properties, she has be gracious, informative, kind, helpful, completely there for her guests. I would highly recommend any person using AirBnB to make sure to contact Martha about availabilities.
All things considered the stay was great. There was no hassle with check in and out. Everything inside of the place was as advertised and well. Overall it was an enjoyable space considering the price. If you want hollywood access, you are in the right spot.
Great accommodation in a great location of Hollywood. Easy access to all the touristy things. Less than 10 minute walk to the metro (which takes you easily and cheaply to downtown LAX etc) Easy check in and out. Wifi was great. Would definitely choose to stay here again if we returned. It's not fancy, and the building is really quite old but it was a great choice, clean, cheap and I'm sure a bargain (we didn't really look at the costs of comparable hotels etc.).
Thanks for making our first airbnb experience a good one Martha!
