Our village grew when the railway came to the valley and when the trains stopped at the Gare de Mareuil people came here for a days fishing and ate in the restaurants and patronised the bordello. Sadly the vines have gone as have the gabarres on the river. We have maps and plans of all local walks bike rides and canoe hire.
You will need a car bike or motorbike to stay with us. We can pick you up from the airport and arrange car hire locally.
Other Things to Note

You may be kept awake by a nightingale singing in the walnut tree. The dawn chorus is fabulous! and because we have no light pollution star gazing is a must..bring your telescope!
No smoking in the chambre , please use the terrace. Pets are very welcome and as well as having access to the enclosed garden can use their own terrace to watch the world go by.
