Lazy Bear on Beech is a secluded, family-friendly cabin nestled in the serene woods of Beech Mountain, North Carolina. This two-story retreat offers a peaceful escape with modern comforts and is conveniently located just over 2 miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort and the charming downtown area, including the iconic Fred’s General Mercantile

The space
We chose this location because of its solitude and convenience to local attractions. Just a little over 2 miles to Beech Mountain ski slopes, little charming town of Beech Mountain & the famous Freds General Mercantile. This 2-story home is set up with openness and convenience you'll never want to leave. The cabin setting is quiet with the only noise being local wildlife going about their day. There are no other homes in sight, so you can enjoy the true mountain feeling of peace and solitude. After a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, there’s no better way to unwind than in the hot tub at Lazy Bear on Beech.

• All pets must be included on the reservation and the pet fee must be paid prior to arrival.
• Please keep all pets off the furniture.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste promptly.
This is a mountain home which means there is potential for guest to encounter wildlife. Please be respectful and mindful. Garbage or food should never be left outside including in vehicles (yes bears can open vehicle doors) and outdoor porches. $500 fine if any trash left outside of bear bin. Weather on the mountain can be unpredictable, please plan accordingly. During winter season, 4-wheel drive or snow chains will be required on the mountain at times.
