"Not all those who wander are lost." - J.R.R. Tolkien

The space

This apartment is located right off St. Laurent - not minutes, but literally seconds from the city's best nightclubs, bars, cafes & restaurants. It is right at the epicenter of the Montreal strip, or as we Quebecers like to call it - the "Main". Everything you may need is provided - from the coffee to the fresh linens & toiletries to our personal local recommendations!
Other notes:
- 1st and 2nd bedrooms have double sized beds, while the bed in the 3rd is a queen.
- although there is a door with window in the photos for the 3rd bedroom, this has been now covered by a drape.
- the apartment is a semi-basement, which means there are windows but they lead out to the entrance way terrace of the building
- we offer unlimited Netflix streaming through the TV, but no cable

Britni's place was a great spot for a nice weekend with friends. Very close to many of the restaurants, bars, clubs on Laurent. The place was cozy once the heat got going. would recommend to anyone looking for a nice pleasant time in Montreal

From the outside, it doesn't look very nice, but the interior is quite nice. It has a great location, right off of St. Laurent (where many clubs/restaurants are)

Was perfect venue for our bachelors party. Excellent location with everything within walking distance. Britini was quick to respond to all my messages and was very helpful throughout.

Very convenient spot for a larger group. Located in the heart of Montreal. The place isn't as exciting as the images make it seem, but its great value non the less.

First off, I’ll say that the location of this place is perfect for exploring Montreal and fit our basic needs. Being right off St. Laurent is wonderful for the restaurants and I’m sure the nightclub scene. It is also about a 25-30 minute walk from Old Montreal. This place is great as a budget location, but I did notice a lot of new development in the area and for a little bit higher of a price, you can get some almost brand new accommodations. Similar to some of the reviews posted since I booked, I would not overly recommend this for families, especially if you have anyone older due to the fact that it is in a basement (which is disclosed) and you have to go down some steps to get in. We were a bit surprised by the exterior look that has a fence surrounding the entrance, but it really seemed unnecessary. It makes the place look scarier than it is. Also, as noted in some previous reviews, this place is not as nice as it appears in the pictures. While it was clean, it is in need of repairs. The couch is very beat up and not comfortable, and one bed sags quite a bit in the middle (it simply needs a support). The floors are very uneven, the tiling in the kitchen has several gaps or cracks in the tiles, and the “wood” floors are very chipped up. There are also what looks like loose electrical wires along the floors, and in some places they are held up by duct tape. The bathroom tiling needs a lot of work and appeared moldy, and in places caulked rather than grouted. The new AC is very nice to help the humidity levels in the living areas, but some of the bedrooms are musty. There is a washing machine & dryer but they are very old and loud, and there is no door to the room to help with the noise. The towels and bedding are also very old. So if you’re young and looking for a place simply near nightlife, its fine. But for a family, there are likely better options nearby for a slightly higher cost. Britni was very responsive while I was looking at the apartment, but during our stay was much less responsive. Upon our arrival we had several questions / concerns (some noted above) and were unable to reach Britni (no reply until middle of the night), so we contacted the management company. They were able to help us out with the items promptly the next morning.

We are kindly of disappointment. It is not as good as the photo display. although it is functional with everything we needed (plus Netflix movies). The location is good and quite. The famous restaurant Schwartz's is in walking distance. Some improvements are need to make guest feel comfortable ---- not enough towels provided. The entry way light was broken, the floor mat and slippers need replacing or just simply get rid off them. The bed of master bedroom is good. We had a good night sleep. But my family complained the mattress in guest rooms
