A 10 minute walk to downtown, this is a charming, sunny cottage in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the Napa Valley because of its unique eclectic charm . Walk to the Napa downtown river walk area and great restaurants. You pass the delightful Oxbow Public Market on your way. You are a 5 minute drive to the well known Silverado Trail where you will have a plethora of wineries and experiences to choose from.
The house has a wonderfully roomy and sunny living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We are art lovers which is reflected in the feel of our home. There is a delightful, bright galley kitchen with all you would need. Some breakfast basics are stocked in the kitchen.
The bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom is a den with a couch. The house is ideal for 2 people but can accommodate 3.
We have a wonderfully private yard with garden. You can even pick whatever is ripe from the vegetable garden! In good weather, the patio is a little oasis to relax on or if you want to BBQ a quiet meal.
From the house, you have the option of walking into the hills and woods with beautiful views, or go the other direction and be in downtown in minutes. Great cycling here, and bike rental near by. It's the perfect location!
Napa has a 31 day occupancy requirement for rentals so please inquire about availability. If you are looking for a charming extended stay experience in the Napa Valley, this house is perfect.
We have wireless internet.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Napa. A perfect location to get to town and into the valley. The area is very quiet and the home is simple and has all the amenities of home. The hosts thought of everything. We will be back....
We had a great experience at Sam and Resa's place. The backyard was great for enjoying the day's purchases, listening to quiet music and playing cards. We were continually surprised at how quiet the neighborhood was.
As a first-time Air BnB customer, the process was pretty easy and Resa made everything welcoming for our arrival, including leaving us some breakfast items. The kitchen was well-stocked and we never felt we were missing anything we needed.
Highly recommended and I'd definitely stay there again!
The home was clean, warm and welcoming! Resa and Sam remembered all these great, small details that made staying in their home even more comfortable than a hotel or B&B. Resa was super thoughtful as well - after we got stuck in horrendous traffic driving up from the city, she called to make sure we didn't have any problems with the home or finding it! Great location - right next to the Oxbow market and the neighborhood was safe and quiet.
We can't say enough wonderful things about Resa's cottage! Napa was an amazing place to visit, but staying in her home made it even better. We had plans to go out the first night we were there, but we enjoyed hanging out in the backyard so much that we walked into town and bought food at the market to eat at home. Her husbands sculptures and their artistic design give the backyard such a magical feel that you won't want to leave! They left us a list of places to try around town and a map which was really useful. We walked into the downtown area each morning, which was about a 10 minute walk from their home and was really enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and everything we could have needed was there waiting for us. We will DEFINITELY be back to stay again and would recommend their home to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in Napa!
My boyfriend and I had a fabulous stay at Resa and Sam's place! It is beautiful, clean, and in the perfect Napa location! We loved enjoying breakfast in their lovely backyard. And, the downtown area is within walking distance. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a wine country get away!
Loved this adorable cottage and charming backyard! The home, the bed, everything was very comfortable and relaxing. Our hosts were also very helpful and accommodating throughout the process. Yes, walking distance to town but be certain you know the best route!
Resa was a great host and her place was very comfortable and very conveniently located. We were able to visit several wineries during our stay and Resa had some recommendations for us when we arrived. The location also allowed us to access to Yountville and St Helena. We only wished that there was cable at her home as we were traveling from overseas and wanted to watch some American TV. Unfortunately the Apple TV and Netflix wasn't working when we tried. Otherwise great place to stay - highly recommended.
This cottage is even more charming than the photos, and the garden is very relaxing and beautiful. We loved walking to dinner in downtown Napa.
Our hosts provided lots of thoughtful touches to make us feel at home: maps & guidebooks, coffee & yogurt for our first breakfast, invitation to pick ripe tomatoes from the garden, and even a phone call our first evening to make sure all was well.
We'll be back!
This wonderful cottage exceeded our expectations and truly made our stay in Napa so enjoyable. Everything was in perfect order and ready for our weekend. Due to our arrival time, we did not meet our host personally. Instructions to the use of the cottage were perfectly clear. Most importantly, we feel so lucky that we did not have to stay in a generic hotel room but instead got to enjoy a laid back and personal Napa atmosphere. We even picked fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden and made salad with other goodies from the local farmer's market Saturday morning. We can't imagine staying anywhere else in Napa henceforth!!
Resa's place was perfect for our stay in Napa. It was a great size, comfortable, and a great location. We were able to walk into town for dinner, and it was very accessible to the hwy's to go on our day trips.
I also enjoyed her neighborhood. It was quiet and peaceful.
When I make it back to Napa, I'll hopefully stay there again!
