"The Map Room" - Bedroom and bath in our Historic East Nashville home. Mid century and eclectic decor. Great vibes:) Comfortable double bed and sitting area in guest room convenient to the bathroom which is next door. Lofted nook with a beautiful willow tree and neighborhood view available to guests in need of a desk or a chill place to hang. It's a clean, safe and private place to stay while visiting music city. Convenient to downtown and all of Nashville's attractions. Accommodates 1-2 comfortably. Fresh ground coffee, filtered water, fruit and wifi provided.

Guest Access

Kitchen and dining room are not available for guest use, but the fridge is!

Interaction with Guests

At check in, we'll show you around your part of the house, get you all situated, and tell you all about Nashville. [We're pretty excellent at recommendations. :)]

You might see us come and go but this is a very private space.

Enjoy your stay!

The Neighborhood

East Nashville is such a rad little part of the world. We are under a mile away from some of Nashville's best restaurants, and according to The New York Times, some of the best restaurants anywhere!

Under a mile away:

The Silly Goose (my favorite for organic and local fare), The Wild Cow (delicious vegan), Rose Pepper (Mexican fare), Eastland Cafe (for fine dining), and our beloved Jeni's Ice Cream Shop and many hip coffee shops.

You might consider a short drive to check out Marche Artisan Foods (accessible fine dining), The Pharmacy (rad burger joint and beer garden), Mas Tacos (the best tacos ever, in my opinion) and/or Holland House (excellent cuisine and fancy custom adult beverages you will love), all of which are located right here in East Nashville. And really, there are so many more, these are just my favorites. :)

Our house is clean, safe, convenient to Downtown Nashville and filled with good vibes. We hope our home gives off a happy peaceful glow to our guests.

Getting around

Plentiful street parking and walking distance from bus route thru East Nashville directly to Downtown/Titans Stadium/Honky Tonk Bars/Bridgestone Arena. 10 minutes to downtown.

Taxis are convenient when coming from downtown or the airport, but not so much going to anything from the house. Several of our guests have been using a service called Lyft-- it's a lot like Airbnb. It's people with cars instead of people with room in their homes. There are even first time user coupons that could potentially get you thru your trip without having to spend anything on transportation. (website hidden) Lyft or download the iPhone app for more information.

Other Things to Note

We have two listings in the same house. If traveling in large groups, check to see if both rooms are available for a full house rental.

  • My stay in Nashville was great at Laura and Adam's storybook house. The collection of assorted curios and mementos throughout their home are intriguing and create a great atmosphere. I was very comfortable and would highly recommend this Airbnb location.

  • I had such a wonderful stay at adam and laura's. Their home was cozy and unique and was a much preferred alternative to a generic hotel. I would definitely stay here again. I always had everything I needed and Adam was quick to assist with local suggestions or any issues.

  • We had a great time staying here. It was our first time using the website and we were happy with the results. The house was very clean, bed was comfortable, bedroom was really big. It was an easy commute to downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay with Laura and Adam again.

  • Laura and Adam are great hosts and their home is indeed lovely! My husband and I were back in town for his graduation and decided to book with Laura and Adam. We had a little car trouble and arrived later than expected; however, Adam patiently waited for us, checked us in, and took the time to provide some great suggestions for dining around the neighborhood. East Nashville is a super cool part of Nashville and conveniently located to downtown Nashville, the airport, and other cool attractions in Nashville. The home itself was great! It was just as depicted in the pictures, very clean, fresh linen and towels, complimentary coffee (with coffee maker right in the room), and very accessible and private bathroom. There was another guest in the room on the first floor but we still felt like we had a very private place during out stay. Also, Laura responds to texts/calls almost immediately (literally she would respond right away) if we ever had a question or concern. But we didn't have many as everything was just as we expected, no surprises, no issues, just an awesome time visiting Nashville again. I would highly recommend staying with Laura and Adam!

  • We had such a lovely stay at Laura and Adam's cozy and cool East Nashville home. The house in and of itself is a delight (everywhere you look, great books and art), and is within walking distance of so many yummy local spots. Laura and Adam were very warm and accommodating.

  • I cannot say enough good things about Laura and this lovely home in the heart of East Nashville. She's several months pregnant and was staying off premises with Adam, and yet she consistently provided me with a wealth of information about the neighborhood and the city that was just invaluable. She was available by text practically 24/7 to attend to my dizzying cascade of inquiries and texts. LOL. And the home is simply adorable. Comfortable and clean and centrally located in the hippest neighborhood in Nashville. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for the home. Two equally enthusiastic thumbs up for the owners. :)

  • Laura and Adam were everything everyone already said they were - welcoming, accommodating, wonderful, lovely... the list could go on.

Their East Nashville Bungalow was in an adorable neighborhood that we loved calling our home base. Super close to downtown and easy access to wherever you want to go. East Nashville was fun to explore with many great dining options that Laura and Adam are totally on top of recommending. We found amazing coffee shops short drives away.

We stayed in the Map Room and it was great. Comforting environment with thoughtful touches throughout. Vibes were great all around. We would definitely not think twice about staying at Laura and Adam's again when revisiting Nashville.

  • So glad we got to stay at Laura and Adam's house in East Nashville! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I to get to ride bikes around the city and close to all of our friends. The girls we shared with were very friendly, too. The whole experience was great :)

My best friend Adam and I moved to East Nashville from New York City a few years ago and bought this magnificent house! I am a songwriter on music row and I love my job! I practice meditation and yoga, and enjoy hiking local trails in Nashville and the surrounding areas. Adam is a former Wall Street bond trader turned entrepreneur. He is currently in school while simultaneously building a company based on his love for family lineage and remembering things. He likes biking, running, photography, Apple Computers and making everyone laugh. He's brilliant and awesome in general. We both share a love of a clean house and a desire to tell people about Nashville, particularly about its food and music scene which we are both huge fans of! There's a ton of recommendations within the listings and we will definitely have more when you get here -- more restaurants and hotspots keep popping up! We're both pretty driven and nerdily in love with our jobs. We bought our house because it had good vibes and our style is an extension of that. It's filled with a hodge podge of mid-century collectables, mixed with many things only valuable to us. Everything has a story behind it, which you might expect from a songwriter and a family lineage buff. In general, we're good vibe seeking type of people. We hope our home gives off a happy peaceful glow to our guests.
