There is usually a nice breeze coming off the lake.
Now the camping part. There is no kitchen, heat, AC or tub/shower. I am a true WOW ( women of the woods). I live on Dixon Lake on the same property has my rentals. I am a business professional. I love love love x.c. skiing, spear fishing, swimming, gardening, canning and hunting. I adore living in the Chippewa National Forest and all the WILD things that happen here. Like today I sat on the lounge chair by the lake with my camera and binoculars watching a pair of Loons feed they're twin babies. Can't beat that! I really enjoy offering my rentals to the adult community to give them a REAL quiet place to stay on the lake!
