We spent Two weeks in Pete's cottage and had an amazing time. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and certainly won't be our last! The cottage is set in beautiful jungle like setting and has the benefit of an enormous pool of which we had exclusive use for the entire two weeks. The cottage is. Dry comfortable with everything provided for cooking if so desired. Wifi and air conditioning excellent and laundry and cleaning exceptional. Located within a minutes walk of the local bus which comes every 10 minutes or so and is. Dry reasonable and absolutely no need for a car! Restaurants and bars and supermarkets within a couple minutes walking distance. Thanks Pete, for making our holiday an unforgettable one

We could not have asked for a better host or nicer accommodations. Pete was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was always available to answer questions and help us out with whatever we needed. The place was also WONDERFUL. We had a couple nights where we just stayed in the apartment and relaxed because it was such a comfortable space. The pool is gorgeous and we also took advantage of the washer/dryer (which Pete helped us use). Overall we had a magnificent stay and I can't recommend the place (or the host) enough!

We very much enjoyed our time at Pete's place in Manuel Antonio! The place offered all of the amenities that we needed including a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, fast wifi, hot water!, a comfy bed, and a sleeper sofa. Pete gladly accommodated a change in our arrival time and offered excellent recommendations on places to eat in the area. I would highly recommend staying at Pete's place if you are looking to visit Manuel Antonio.

I stayed here for 11 nights between Christmas and New Years of 2016-17. Peter appeared just as I arrived even though my flight was a bit delayed- so, I felt he was actively concerned about things running smoothly. Everything about the house was exactly as advertised. The location is excellent for exploring both Manuel Antonio and Quepos. The beaches are great, but there is a lot more to see in the area and the location facilitates that. Everything you could possibly need or want is just a very short walk away. I visited the area 12 years ago, and was pretty amazed at the changes. Alicia was both pleasant and efficient as she did the cleaning, laundry and also saw to it that there were fresh flowers placed around the house. The pool is awesome.... bigger than the house! And, visited by monkeys and iguanas while I was there. Peter is a great host and lets you now that he is available for anything you might need. The dogs were an extra perk as I was missing my own on the trip. Totally recommend Pete's Place! I hope to get back again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Pete's Place. The location was perfect for everything we needed and wanted to do. The little house felt like home pretty quickly and was the perfect place to relax after long days out. Pete's advice was extremely helpful and we felt that we got the most out of our short 3 nights there! He also provided a phone in the house which added an extra asset as our phones obviously didn't have service, so we were able to get in touch with him easily if needed. I only wish we could have enjoyed a massage on the premises but we both got burnt pretty badly on our first day despite numerous applications of sun block. Also, the towels were really fluffy! Thanks for everything Pete!

Peter User ProfilePeter is a superhost.

Over the years, I have met some wonderful people here and made friendships that will last forever.
I'm a Leo, I like people, I empathetic and I love to laugh.
Living here has given me the opportunity to be one with nature, spend time at the beach and hang out with other like minded folks who came, fell in love and stayed in one of the special places on the planet.
I'm a reader and fiction works for me (Lee Child, with Jack Reacher are favorites).
I like to meet my guests but then stay out of their way unless needed, they are not here to see me, they are here to see Monkeys, Sloths, Toucans, Dolphins, Whales and all that Costa Rica has to offer.
Did I mention I like kids, and they seem to like me.
I guess you could say I'm a people person , and I'm looking forward to meeting you.
Pura Vida is the motto here, Pure Life which basically means live in the moment.
