  • The apartment was lovely and perfect for our needs. We couldn't have found a more pleasing and convenient location. I wouldn't hesitate recommending the apartment to any couple looking for a romantic stay in rome. Massimo, our host was very accommodating helping us with our phone and nearby dining options, and more. A great experience!

  • We loved staying here; the apartment is absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and centrally located. I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment to others. I can't wait to come back to Rome again some day and stay here.

  • We had an amazing holiday to Rome and living in mpg via del cancello flat added to it, the apartment is a lovely little place smack bang in the middle of everything. We walked to everything from here and it has all the amenities you would need. Massimo was a great host and made sure we had what we needed and even though we were late getting to the apartment he didn't mind waiting at all. If I go back to Rome I will definatly be using mpg again. Thanks guys.

  • We had an excellent stay at the apartment. The apartment was conveniently located near Piazza Nanova, close to bus stations and many charming restaurants. We mostly walked to most tourist attractions and in some occasions took bus #87 to get to further attractions such as Colosseum. Apartment was located in 2nd floor, was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend a stay at this apartment.

  • We stayed for a week at the apartment on Via Dei Cappellari (8/29-9/6/13) . Mossimo met us at the apartment to deliver the key and show us around. He is a great host and had 2 bottles of wine, 2 large bottled waters and breakfast bread in the apartment for us. This is a 2 story apartment with a couch bed on the lower level and a queen bed in the open loft area at the top of the stairs. The only bath is upstairs. We found the apartment to be rather quiet despite the fact that it is a 6 story building unit without air. It is off the main street so there is NO street noise and opens up to an interior courtyard. We found that without a ceiling fan upstairs it was a little warmer than we liked (but not HOT) so we slept on the pull out couch from Day 2 on (downstairs has a ceiling fan that provided great air). The couch bed had a very firm mattress but was comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, shower was typical of Europe. The provided hair dryer and iron would only work in downstairs sockets. Not a big deal for us as we did not use either. The wifi was not installed yet but this also was not a big deal. Most restaurants in the area had free wifi so we just hooked up while we were out. It was nice to not have that added distraction when we were in the apartment. There is a flat screen TV downstairs that had great reception and plenty of channels most in Italian but we did find one English channel. With regard to (email hidden) can't be beat!!! Close to both the Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona there are plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment. It is a 5-10 minute walk to most places and Bus 64 took us easily to the other places we wanted to go. We traveled by train 2 days during our trip and found it easy to catch the bus near the apartment and get dropped off at the Termini Station. We spent most of our days walking Rome and it was nice to have a quiet place to return to in the evening that had quick access to food/drink. Having the two living areas was large for 2 people but it gave us each our own space should we need it. We also felt extremely safe. We never felt the need to shut the 2nd story windows even when we were out. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Rome. Thanks to Mossimo for a wonderful place to stay!!

Thanks Billie, since yesterday we have Wi-fi and we are mounting the air conditioning, if you'll come back to Rome we will remember you, and we will forgive these failings .... Best wishes to both!

  • Massimo was a great host and was there to personally greet us when we arrived, helping to arrange for transportation when we got there.
It was a great location too which a 10 mins away from St peters, so we could beat the crowd in the morning and get to see both day and night view of the place.
It was a good experience for my family

Thanks again to you for your kind words, too !

  • Great location, great host and communication!!! The only thing I would say is that photos on site may be two different rentals, so a little confusing, but we were happy with the overall experience.

  • I should qualify that the pictures on this listing aren't the actual apartment we stayed in - I'm going to guess that Massimo manages a number of properties and he uses this listing to cover all of them. Luckily, the apartment we did stay in was beautiful and even kinda fancy - very well-decorated and comfortable. We couldn't believe we were getting such a great place near Piazza Navona for such a low price and even commented that a pair of honeymooners would feel perfectly at home. Communication was a bit difficult since Massimo and Franca can't speak English very well, but they responded quickly and tried their best. Massimo was very friendly and even gave us a bottle of wine! Would definitely stay again.
