Incredible house with breathtaking view. So calm & cosily.
A lot of space even for 6 persons, we felt there like at home.
Maria is great & met us very warmly with wi-fi router ;)
There is no words to describe living at this place.
I highly recommend to book BUENAVISTA HOUSE.
Wow, this place was amazing, just like in the pictures and more! Maria was very friendly and flexible, just a perfect host. She recommended nice places to eat and also we took ride on the horses on her camp on the top of the hill, very much recommended to visit even you wouldn't want ride a horse. People in this village are overwhelming friendly, and the food is amazingly tasty and cheap compared to the tourist beach towns. Actually you hardly could see other tourists on the village which made us feel like living a moment in real Spanish life. Few tips for other visitors: rent a car (even the restaurants are very close), take warm cloth with you if you are coming on winter (if you wear only flip flops and light clothing it gets a bit cold in the evenings and also inside the villa even there are heaters). But yes, excellent place and stunning views, clean, everything prepared for us when we came, missed nothing. Recommended and will visit again!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights at the End of September. On arrival we were beyond delighted as the villa is stunning (even better than the photos) and it was immaculate! Although there was only 2 of us I have no doubt that if we had been a 6 it would still have felt incredibly spacious.
The views over the sea were sensational. And the night sky was amazing!
The swimming pool was a great touch but I would say more of an adults pool than children's which was great for us.
The local beach of La Bollullo was nice but the waves very fierce. We spent most of our time at Las Teresitas which is a white sand beach in Santa Cruz about 25 mins away but worth the drive. Regardless of beaches I would advise you get a car when staying at this villa and a good sat nav.
Within a few minutes walk of the villa at the bottom of the hill are 2 great tapas restaurants (La Bodeguita de Enfrente and El Calderito) which were recommended in our guide book and didn't disappoint. Worth booking in busy times.
Maria was a great host - she responded instantly whenever we needed anything, was completely flexible re check in and check out, had hand picked grapes and a Bottle of wine waiting for us and presented the villa perfectly.
Would really recommend the villa and Maria. A lovely holiday.
We were looking for a quiet modern house that was close to the beach, town and restaurants, but far enough from typical tourist 'traps' to enjoy and experience local living.
The house has stunning ocean views from floor to ceiling windows in almost every room. It's chic and modern, with an infinity pool and garden area that both look onto the ocean. Access to the house is secure (electric gates) and the road is quiet and private. The supermarkets and restaurants are close by and offer great value and variety.
Mayre was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering a lot of information about the area and sites to see. Se also suggested a horse riding centre that included hacking, for equestrian lovers.
It's perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or if you want a group holiday where you can entertain at home at night and take full advantage of the space.
The only minor suggestion i would make is to provide basic supplies such as handwash and lavatory paper: when we got there, these were not provided.
If you are looking for a quiet beach, we recommend playa bullullo which is a 10 minute car journey and a 15 minute walk from the parking. This beach is quite a find! it's off the beat and track, so not known bly many tourists, and because of its remoteness, it's also quiet. The beach is admittedly difficult to get to as you have to walk down the steps of a cliff, but it's secluded, private and has a cafe and lavatories. It appears that this gay friendly beach is frequented by an ecclectic crowd, including surfers, walkers, and naturists.
Nice house, big and comfortable) Swiming pool has cold water, it's good for summer time (but not for autoumn time, specialy for kids). Anyway, thanks for nice holiday!))
