We had a rocky start to our stay in Rome. We had to wait until 10pm until the security guard had to come to give us the keys. Luckily our train came in after 9pm and the taxi ride was about 20 minutes so we didn't have to wait that long. While we were waiting for the security guard to let in another group that had been waiting since 8:30p, Anna Maria came to assist with our check in. I did find it strange that I had to fill out a form with my full name, home address, phone number, birth date and passport number before I was handed the keys since that information is already saved on my airbnb profile. That's when I realized that this isn't a private residence; this place is a boarding house for students and young travelers. It's actually called Boarding House International. This fact is fine with me, I just wish that it was stated on the profile page. The apartment itself was great except for the fact that there was no air conditioning. It is situated on the 7th floor so you can imagine how hot it gets after a long Rome summer day. We found ourselves sweating even after taking a shower. We didn't leave Rome until late on our last day, and Anna Maria was very accommodating with letting us keep our luggage in the apartment until we were leaving so we could enjoy a full day in Rome without worrying about our things. My summary of this place: very spacious for a large group but don't book in the middle of the summer unless you want to deal with the stifling heat. Anna Maria was very nice and accommodating and it was easy to keep in touch with her and her assistant Manuela. Please be advised, this is not a private residence, it is similar to student housing and has a dorm room vibe. There is no doorman like the ad states.

The apartment is situated in a large hostel complex. Manuela's colleague AnnaMaria handled my communication and was very prompt and helpful from much before our arrival. She also arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport (with additional charges of course). The apartment was super comfortable and could have easily hosted 9 people (we were 7). It was clean and all the amenities were well provided. Airconditioning would have been nice but we knew it was not available from before. It is quite close to public transport and getting to all the attractions were super easy. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The flat was very comfortable, clean and near the anciant city. Manuela was very kind and helpful. The public transform in Rome is quite good, so we didn't need our car- it was cheaper. The seaside also wonderful.

AnnaMaria was very nice and welcoming : she came to explain us the bus lines, give us maps and recommend things to do, a restaurant to go to (which was excellent, by the way !). She also spontaneously booked a taxi for us for the return flight. The flat was very big and beautiful : you can comfortably fit 8 people concerning the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen, but there isn't a very big table if you want to eat all together. A happy surprise, the pictures don't look as good as the flat itself ! We recommend this place and will remember it for a future stay in Rome :)

I got exactly what I wanted and what was promised... A great, comfortable place in the heart of Trastevere - walking distance to all the major attractions with a gym and a coffee shop and a supermarket 2 mins walk as well as easy tram transport straight into the city if I didn't feel like walking. The host was amazingly accomodating and helped us with booking cabs etc as well. Thank you so much! I'll come back!

We were four adults, a 12 year old, a four year old and two infants. The appartment is quite basic but has a lot of space (four bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, a small livingroom and four balkonies). The appartment is situated on a nice location in walking distance to the historical centre, the vatican, different fruit markeds. On sundays theres a large flea marked in the street. The owners are very friendly. I would definately use the same appartment in the future.
