The B&B Dimora Sabatini is a charming house entirely renovated with garden and private parking area, owned by our family for nearly 100 years.
Our B&B is located in the town of Oriolo Romano along the main street, just few steps from the train station that connects Oriolo to Rome and Viterbo, not far from the historical city centre, where is located the beautiful Piazza Umberto I.
Dimora Sabatini is on two levels. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and two singles. One of the bedrooms is communicating with a single to accommodate families up to four people. The rooms have private bathroom with shower and air conditioning. The rooms are non smoking, we arranged small garden spaces equipped for smoking guests.
The ground floor has a large kitchen with stove, refrigerator with fresh food and microwave for guests to enjoy a breakfast "at home". The living room includes a sitting room featuring a cosy fireplace and a TV. Guests can enjoy a reading area with books available and free internet access.
The B&B Dimora Sabatini is a good start for those who want to visit Rome without remaining trapped in the chaos of the city, but also an ideal start for trips to the sea, to the lakes of Vico, Bracciano and Martignano, as well as to the various archaeological areas of the southern Tuscia like Cerveteri, Tarquinia, Barbarano and Blera. Oriolo Romano also offers the possibility of several naturalistic runs between woods and ruins for the lovers of trekking and bicycle. It is extremely comfortable to reach, in few minutes by car, historical centres as: Viterbo, Civita di Bagnoregio, Calcata, Sutri and Tuscania, but also places of care and rest as the Thermal Baths of Stigliano and the famous Terme dei Papi of Viterbo.
The railway station, which is only few steps from our house, allows to reach the centre of Rome in 45 minutes and Viterbo in half an hour. It is possible to reach the International Fiumicino Airport in 45 minutes by car from the motorway Rome Fiumicino.
My experience at B&B Dimora Sabatini was nothing less than perfect. It is a 3 min. walk from the train station and about a 5 min. walk to the center of town. My single room was upstairs and had a private balcony with small table and 2 chairs that was bigger than the room itself. The room was recently remodeled with nice bathroom including a shower. The bed was very comfortable and Alessandro and his mom were perfect hosts offering a breakfast that was too much to finish. They did their best to make me feel at home. Stop here to explore the interesting historical area that is about 1:20 min. from Rome Trastevere by train. Thanks Alessandro & Mamma!
