About this listing
We find ourselves at the intersection of various quarters of Rome. From this area you can get in touch with the manifold sceneries that render this city so fascinating. On one side, there is the elegant residential area of San Saba with its villas from the beginning of the 20th century, antique churches and gardens hidden behind tall gates. On the other side, there is the folkloric Testaccio quarter, noted for its many Trattorias and night life. In front of the apartment you can see the Aurelian Walls, and within a short, pleasant walk you can reach the Baths of Caracalla, the Circus Maximus and, if you feel up to it, even the Forum Romanum and Collosseum.
The Ostiense area is at the back of the apartment; here you can stock up on typical Italian foods in the stores and restaurants of the modern Eataly building.
Just a few steps away from the apartments, at the Piazzale dei Partigiani, you will find many bus lines (main station), the trains going to Ostiense station, and the metro (Piramide stop); which all together comprehensively cover the entire city.
The bus line 175 stops actually right in front of the building and connects Ostiense station with Termin, bypassing various historically interesting places and following an itinerary that seems to just have been designed as a Tourist guide.
We are thus in a quiet residential area rich in great treasures that can be reached by foot or through one of the numerous means of public transportation readily available.
The apartment has a surface area of 200 square meters and is located in a residential area in the city centre. It can accommodate up to 12 people and is situated on the first floor which can be reached by elevator.

Two of the triple bedrooms face towards a pleasant balcony. From the bright master bedroom, arranged with antique furniture and flooded by light entering through the windows on two sides, the large terrace can be accessed directly, as well as through the third triple bedroom.
For a maximum of comfort, there are three separate bathrooms, each complete with a crystal shower box and refined with decorative mosaic and high quality tiles.
The kitchen is completely furnished with state-of-the-art utensils and kitchen equipment: dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer are all available to you.

This apartment was as described and had all the modern conveniences anyone would require. Being located close to a metro station makes it a breeze to go anywhere in Rome (you are 2 stations away from the Colosseum). You are also only 10 minutes away with a taxi from the Travestere neighbourhood which offers some of the best nightlife in Rome. Do some grocery shopping at Eataly Rome, a 10 minute walk...it is worth the trip. Overall, a great place in a residential area with a few bars (don't forget that bars in Italy is where you get your café) close by with a friendly Italian atmosphere. Don't hesitate, this apartment is worth it.
Hi Martin, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a feedback! It is such a pleasure to read that you had a great time in Rome with us. We hope to see you again here and maybe we could take a coffee all together in a typical italian bar! A presto! Laurence
Wonderful apartment!! Great space to retreat and recoup from the chaos of Rome.
I knew from the photos that this was a nice apartment, but I never expected it to be so amazing. In all my travels in the US and Europe, I've never stayed in a place of this quality. Of the five bedrooms, I chose the small one and loved the privacy. The bed was perfect. The deck provided us with delightful cool evenings and, though it overlooks a major street, there is no problem with noise. The security windows were beautiful and easy to use. The furnishings were elegant and the (3) bathrooms flawless. I would come back to Rome just to stay here.
From the first time I saw the listing on AIRBNB and made contact with our hosts it was everything I hoped for. The pictures of the apartment were beautiful, very reasonably priced and you can only hope that what you see is what you get. It was all that and more. The hosts provided a lot of information up front and we're always accommodating when I had a question. Place was centrally located to buses, trains and attractions. My family and I would highly recommend the hosts and their place, we had a fantastic week.
it was a real pleasure having you as our guests, and we are truly happy to have been able to host you and your family during your holiday here.
We'd absolutely love to see you again! Many greetings from the Eternal City back to the States!
- Resultat: alles TOP.
Apartamento muito bem localizado e muito aconchegante, limpo e organizado! Minha família adorou! Eu recomendo a todos, são muito profissionais!
The apartment is spacious and nice and it was a good fit for our party of 11 people (2 of them young kids). The high ceilings gives it a spacious feeling. The terrace was a blessing in the hot weather – although parts of it was covered by plastic when we were there.
The host was very accommodating, although they surprised us by requiring a deposit of 300 euros when we arrived at the apartment; which was returned the day we departed. Moreover, we were grateful for the two high chairs, stroller and a baby cot provided for us by the host.
We really liked getting to know the Testaccio area, with its restaurants, delis and markets. Further, it was very easy to get to all of Rome’s attractions by the metro, tram and buses from the Piramide station. Even the train station is close by, where you can take a train to Fiumincino Airport.
Dear Marit, thank you very much for such kind words! We are happy to hear you have enjoyed the apartment and our beautiful city. As you can surely understand, we ask for a security deposit for most of our large apartments, so we can be sure the apartment stays always in a this nice way.
We would be delighted to welcome you back anytime! Thank you again, and many greetings from Rome!
