A one-of-a-kind aviation stay

Guests highlight the unique aviation setting, with several calling it an unforgettable experience
Welcome to the Seldovia cozy 1-bedroom cabin at the famous FLY8MA Pilot Lodge where woodlands and aviation meet at your doorstep! The property is located ten minutes from Big Lake, AK and comes complete with a workspace area, fridge/microwave, and bathroom/shower.

The cabin is located right next to our Boeing 727 airplane lodge where you are welcome to BBQ grill on the wing deck or play some ping pong in the fuselodge!

There's also a washer and dryer (75 feet from your cabin)

The space
The Pilot Lodge has 3 airplane homes and 5 cabins available for short and long term rental. We are also available for special events including weddings, birthdays, corporate retreats, and family gatherings.

Other things to note
This is a real airstrip with small aircraft taking off and landing with our guests throughout the daylight hours departing on tours and flight training lessons. Please keep your vehicles and kids clear of the runway.

Located "mid-field" along our 1,200' private runway, you have direct views of aircraft taking off and landing from your window.

It is the perfect spot for flight students, solo travelers, or couples looking for a unique stay on our 100+ acre aviation playground.

This cabin is part of a small cluster of 4 units, making it a great social environment for aviation enthusiasts while still offering private living space.
