  • Priscilla (Pasha) and Rob are wonderful hosts, and this apartment was everything I could have hoped for and more. Arriving in the evening, it was great to have food and drink provided until we could do some shopping. Especially the fresh fruit! In the evening, after a busy day of sight-seeing, hiking, swimming, etc., it was great for the peacefulness of this location. I absolutely loved it and the hosts!

  • Priscilla & Rob were elegant hosts. We were greeted with a bowl full of luscious fresh fruits, eggs from their chickens, yogurt, cream cheese and a fresh loaf of local bread. So welcoming!! We were out and about most of our stay as we are locals from south end of the Island in need of a place in Kona as we were volunteering for Kona Brew Festival. The location is perfect, cool out of Kona Town, and easily accessible. We will definitely stay there again

  • We had a wonderful experience. Priscilla and her husband were great hosts. They provided us with fresh fruit and food in the fridge for breakfast. I would book with them again if we come back to Hawaii.

  • Pasha and Rob are the sweetest couple I’ve ever met. From the moment I stepped into the apartment and was greeted by Pasha, I knew I had made the right choice.

The apartment is super cozy, really quiet and surrounded by lush vegetation and lots of fruit trees. Rob was kind enough to leave us fresh mangos, papaya, lettuce, sunflower seeds and fruits I’ve never even tried before. Every few days when I’d come back from the beach, there they were awaiting me outside the door.

    Very sweet indeed!

I highly recommend this place to anyone that can work remotely (the internet connection was great) and wants a very cozy place to pass their time in Kona. I was so impressed by their attention to detail and the hospitality that they provided that I will be returning soon to spend some more time there.

Thanks again you guys and I can’t wait to return!

  • Priscilla and Rob were great hosts, always available and always helpful. They brought us fruits (papaya, mangos & avocados) and lettuce from their garden. They were vey available for any questions and helped us find our way around the island. The sunsets from the front lanai were spectacular and we took many photos. The bed was comfortable and the couch bed was surprisingly very comfortable. Much better than most. No problems with sleeping. It was quiet and cool. Laundry was convenient. The yard around the apartment was beautiful and felt like a tropical garden.
I would love to use the apartment again next year.

  • A nice alternative to being on or near the beach. This is a first floor apartment downstairs from the owner's unit. You have your own entrance and parking area and the apartment is clean and comfortable. This is up above the sun and heat of the beach at 1300 feet above sea level. The property has lots of plants including coffee, papayas and avocados. One note, the first time you drive to the apartment will go much more easily if you can do it in the day rather than at night as the parking is just off a main road and then there is a path to the apartment.

  • A lovely place to get away with special people as hosts. Rob's gardening pursuits are filled with yum.

Enjoy sunsets from the lanai as the Northern Cardinals sing you to evening.

  • Priscilla was a great host, despite our flight being delayed she made herself available for us on arrival and not only showed us around but also gave us some good tourist pamphlets and recommendations from previous guests.

The location is exactly as described, and the sunset view is brilliant.

About
I am a foreign language teacher. My husband Rob is a retired gardener. We have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. Unfortunately they live on the mainland. I enjoy travelling, especially to places where I can practice my French or Russian. Rob and I both enjoy plants, animals and books.
