Have an amazing time in Portland!
We enjoyed our stay here! Everything was just how pictured and described. Even though it is somewhat removed from downtown Portland, if you have a car- it is a very easy location to get around Portland and surrounding areas. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Studio is clean and spacious.
Luisa made me feel welcome by being flexible in our arrival time, and answering all my questions concerning the proximity of OHSU, food opportunities, and returning my calls in a timely fashion. My husband was in the hospital for 5 days, and it was only a 5 minute walk from the studio apt. to the hospital. I felt safe and was very comfortable in the studio. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were adequate, and it was a very quiet place to stay. I would recommend this studio for anyone who has a loved one at OHSU and needs to be close. I never had to drive my car during my stay. I was able to use the tram(free for patients and family) to go downtown if necessary. The tram walkway goes right to the hospital...amazing proximity and a beautiful short ride down the hill. I am so grateful to have found a cozy studio apt. with such a perfect location. I would definitely stay there again.
The studio was in excellent condition and furnished with new or near new items and was very clean. It was in an ideal location next to the medical center for me. It was private and quiet and everything I needed was already there waiting for me. I would definitely recommend it without reservation to anyone staying on the hill.
Flying in from Texas, I needed a place near OHSU hospital quickly, to be near my friend having open heart surgery. This location was amazing. The walk to the hospital was only 3 blocks, and even at night, the street was well lit and felt safe. I was gone most of the time, but all the essentials were available when needed: Microwave, TV, full size refrigerator, stove, toaster, and a brand new washer/dryer was installed during my stay. Convenience of the location lessened the trauma of my reason for being there, and gave opportunity to go home mid-day to rest and take c/o needed correspondence and calls. Although a parking pass was available, I rode with family and a car wasn't even needed. The place was cozy with the thermostat right on target (important since it was in the high 20's some nights. The bed was quite comfortable. From the beginning of the application, Louisa was always available by phone. She answered each of the 3 times I called, giving me any instructions requested. I felt very secure in the location with the security auto locking front door. So thankful for the gal-pal who recommended this location and who said all 3 of her stays through airbrb had been great. It was a perfect fit for my needs.
OVERALL: good stay and would stay again. Quick responses from host.
HOME: clean and comfortable.
TRAVEL: pretty drive up to the home, safe neighborhood, parking not an issue, two minutes to Downtown / ten minutes to NW.
Luisa was great in checking in with us when we arrived to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was and we enjoyed our stay in her studio in Portland. Parking was easy with a parking pass she provided. Everything was clean and comfortable and I would absolutely recommend staying here. There was easy public transit we used frequently that also ran late at night. I really appreciated being able to stay comfortably so close to the city without the crazy hotel prices that seem inescapable in the city center.
Great place to stay for any length of time required at OHSU. The amount of space is perfect for 1 person (a bargain compared to apartments downtown). Very comfortable. Also, the area is super safe.
Solid access to downtown. Can easily take nearby Bus 8 or ride Tram in hospital down to Streetcar on waterfront.
All the amenities worked well. Luisa is very attentive and easy to communicate with.
