  • Diane is a wonderful host and has such a cozy and comfortable place! Unfortunately, Diane was not present during our stay, but she was able to make it so warm and inviting nonetheless. Everything was clean, there was plenty of breakfast foods provided, and the patio/backyard were beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Thanks so much, Diane! Hope to make it back again!

Thank you for the nice review, Chris. I do hope you come stay again soon!

  • Diane's house was clean, cozy, and conveniently located to downtown Sonoma. (You could walk downtown in about 40 minutes, or a cab cost us about $8.) There's a gorgeous, sunny patio and garden area— so peaceful!—out back, and inside, the two bedrooms had more than enough space for two couples. We'll be back!

  • Diane was a great host, her spot was perfect for our weekend trip to Sonoma. It was clean, comfortable, cozy and quiet - and we appreciated the small touches like the breakfast items in the kitchen.

  • We had a fabulous time in Sonoma and Diane was a wonderful host! The place was set up beautifully when we arrived, everything was clean and in good order. We had a private room, bathroom, and small kitchen to ourselves. It was exactly what we needed for a long weekend in wine country. The location is absolutely perfect for what we wanted to do while there too. We were about 5-10 minutes from the main square, where some great restaurants and shops are located. We were also just off the main highway that many of the wineries are located on, so you simply had to turn out of the neighborhood and drive a couple miles in either direction before you could begin your wine explorations.

Diane herself was a great host. She checked in on us every day to make sure there was nothing else we might need. She recommended some great places to eat and things to do while we were in the area as well. She also provided a light breakfast for us every morning, which was perfect before we set off on a day of wine tastings.

We loved Sonoma. We loved Diane's place. We hope to make it back there again in the future, and would stay with Diane again without any second thoughts!

  • My girlfriend and I wanted to get away for 1 night, without the kids, and sleep comfy. Diane was able to offer that and more. Her house is great, her yard is amazing, her personality is very warm and welcoming.
We had a great experience staying there; we even had the chance to rent two rooms so we each got our own bed and shared a bathroom.
She helped us with suggestions to where to go for a hike, a great place to eat dinner and get nails done. She asked our preference for breakfast and offered us a great selection for our meal.

    Response from Diane:

Thank you Andreina for your kind review and other input (there are some things I just didn't think of!). I am especially glad you two had some quality "down time" enjoying my garden as well as exploring Sonoma. I hope you will visit again.

  • My overnight stay at Diane's bed and breakfast was in celebration of my 70th birthday. When my friend and I pulled into her driveway, I was overwhelmed with the quiet and beauty of her yard - filled with beautiful flowers - and the immediate feeling of being welcome. Her accomodations are excellen; she prepared a varied continental breakfast of fruit, eggs, and lots of coffee the next morning. Her home is tastefully decorated, with a warm feeling. Bed and private bath were top notch; and, it was wonderful to wake in the morning to birds chirping in the trees and bushes outside the bedroom window. I would recommend these accomodations to anyone contemplating a trip to the wine country.

Thank you Janice! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come again. I also hope Claire is feeling better.

  • Diane's guest house was an amazing place to stay while we visited the Sonoma and Napa area. The bed was so comfortable and the light breakfast items that she left in the kitchenette for us were appreciated in the mornings. The kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom were very large and perfect for my boyfriend and I. We really liked the "home away from home" feel as compared to staying at an impersonal hotel. If we ever return to the area, Diane's place will be our place to stay for sure!
