The Sonoma - getaway was as described. It was clean, convenient, well appointed and perfect for our weekend in the wine country. It was a great location for accessing the Sonoma Square and all the great Sonoma wineries.
Lovely spot in a super-convenient location! We didn't get to meet Diane b/c she was away for the weekend, but everything was perfectly prepped for our arrival and we had great communication before (&during) our stay. The room is spacious, simply but beautifully appointed, the kitchen and outside deck and garden are top-knotch!!!! Very comfy bed with nice smooth linens. We really enjoyed our stay and also got to meet another tenant on the property (Sonnie) and Brody the cat :). Everyone made us feel welcome. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and recommend Diane's cozy space to anyone looking for a nice private, comfortable place to stay!
The reservation was canceled 75 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Diane's place in Sonoma was perfect for our needs: a cozy, easy place to stay for a busy 2-day, 1-night trip up to Sonoma. We arrived after dinner and were pleased to see the easy signage for where to park and then pointing us to the Airbnb room. The space consists of a kitchen (which feels very private and is only used by one other permanent tenant, during a specific timeslot each week, to access the washer & dryer); a large, clean, and cozy bedroom; and a full bath. Diane left the light on for us, mini bath products in the bathroom, and lots of helpful materials about Sonoma arranged in neat baskets.
She also left out basic breakfast foods like cereal, outmeal, and fresh fruit, and had coffee prepared and ready to brew in the coffee pot the next morning. We decided to venture out to a nearby coffeeshop and then take a stroll around the quiet residential neighborhood before going on our way. We never saw anyone else on the property, although I believe Diane was there (and let us know that she was available if we needed her). Overall it was a great value and perfect for a basic but clean and comfortable place to stay.
We had a great time here. Diane was lovely. She really made it feel like a Bed and Breakfast. She had everything we needed for breakfast each morning; coffee ready to be brewed, fresh fruit, yogurt, biscotti, toast. The backyard was beautiful and we enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch in the morning.
Our mini-apartment was super clean which was great!
Loved the getaway place. Very private and what an amazingly comfortable bed! Diane was there to welcome us and we would definitely return. Sonoma is a great place to explore and this is a great launching pad to do so.
great location, great host excellent stay, too bad it was too short.
our host Diane was checking with us and adding a personal touch which made us feel at home.
perfect place where to stay!
20 year resident in the town of Sonoma. I love gardening, biking and enjoying fine food with friends. I love to travel and the best thing about it is always the people I meet and kind hospitality provided. I hope to do the same for my guests.
